What it does

Harvests warranty data from approved submittals + manufacturer cut sheets and compiles the owner closeout warranty book. Outputs a searchable warranty database + a generated PDF/ZIP package.

Manufacturer cut sheets for products without explicit warranty PDFs
Project warranty start date (typically substantial completion)

One row per product:

Coverage scope
Start date (computed from substantial completion + product-specific offset)
Claim contact + 24h emergency line if applicable
Exclusions

Coverage gaps · auto-flagged

If a submittal lacks a warranty PDF and the manufacturer cut sheet doesn't reference one, the engine flags the gap and routes to the PM to chase the vendor.

05 · Engines

Post-handoff warranty tracking

Workspace owners can opt in to warranty expiration tracking · the engine pings 90 days before each warranty expires. Useful sticky owner-side feature; off by default.
