October 2026

v5.98 October 5, 2026

Plainer wording, clearer Team and setup screens, and a better phone app

  • Plainer wording across the app. Labels, hints and messages on the Daily Log, Sales pipeline, Vendors, Pulse, Suggested Tasks, Documents, Drawings and Settings screens now say plainly what happens. Screens no longer show database table names or the names of real companies in their examples.
  • The footer, the tab title and printed reports say Trueleveler. The footer, the browser tab title, the printed report footers and the sign-off on our e-mails now read just “Trueleveler”, in all ten languages. The Engines page counts “ENGINES · 28”, and Compose Email no longer carries a Beta chip.
  • Team and setup screens. Permission names on the Team screens are written in plain words, the header counts your field seats correctly and a field member shows a Field seat, and the Last active column is now called Joined because it shows the day a person accepted the invite. On Getting Started, Create a project opens the New Project form, Invite a team member opens Team and Add a vendor opens the Vendor Directory.
  • Phone app: the RFI question comes first. On an RFI, the question now sits directly under the subject, above the reply form, and a reply is signed with the person’s name rather than only an e-mail address when the team list knows them.
  • Phone app: sheets follow your theme. Seven sheets that were always a dark navy card, including the share-link sheet and the My Work card, now follow the light or dark setting, and nothing shows through above the tab bar when a detail panel is open. The Meeting screen uses plainer wording.
  • Help pages match the product. The help pages for Scope Builder, RFI Drafter, the RFI tracker, Submittal Reviewer, Change Order Review, Daily Log Synthesizer, Field Daily Report, Closeout Builder and Exports now describe only what those screens do, and a few buttons and hints were reworded to match.
v5.97 October 5, 2026

Engine results that add up, one overall progress figure, and clearer safety screens

  • Overall progress counts longer activities for more. Overall schedule progress is now weighted by how long each activity is, the same way on the Schedule screen, the Owner Report, the PM Handoff, Pulse and the project home page, so a ten-day activity no longer counts the same as a sixty-day one. An activity with no dates counts as one day.
  • Scope Compliance totals and line prices. The bid total is now the amount labeled total, base bid or lump sum, and a line price is matched to its own line only.
  • Build RFQ from scope does what it says. The Build RFQ from scope button and the “What to try next” chips now run the hand-off and put the scope in the RFQ box. PM Contract Summary can be run from its own button, and PM Handoff fills in what Contract Review left empty from the latest summary.
  • Engine tallies and wording. The Contract Review header counts its Critical and Risk findings, and the Change Order Review header counts the lines not justified. A sign-off prints “APPROVED”. The Owner Report no longer asks for a pasted contract when a project is open, and its PDF header carries a report id and the time it was made.
  • Safety and insurance screens. “Days since last” counts from the last recordable incident, so a near miss or a first-aid case no longer resets it. A bond left active past its expiry date reads Lapsed and has a Lapsed filter, expired certificates show how many days past expiry, and the renewal e-mail lists the project’s contract minimums when any are set. The warranty register stays open when you press Edit, Save or Cancel.
  • My Board and Pulse read plainly. The Records dialog shows each record’s status next to it, chart axes count in whole numbers, status codes read as words such as “In progress”, and the change figure says it is counting only the last N days against the N days before. The Pulse receipt stays on its drawer instead of jumping to another screen.
v5.96 October 5, 2026

Emails and trackers show what is really there

  • Emails show who sent them and what they say. An open email shows its sender and its text, the list shows the address when there is no name and the start of the message when there is no summary, search finds words in the body and in the address, and each card shows its vendor and amounts.
  • Tracker filter chips stay put. On the Submittal tracker, a filter chip no longer undoes itself on the second click, and findings from the Submittal Reviewer show their colored dots.
  • The RFI window updates after you send. After Send for review, the open RFI shows its new status, the date sent and the days out, instead of still reading Draft.
  • Critical shows on the Punch List. A critical punch item now shows CRIT in the priority column instead of a dash.
  • Open notices load after a save. After you save the edit window or draft a supplemental on the Notices tracker, the open notice shows its record instead of staying on “Loading notice…”.
v5.95 October 4, 2026

Features that did nothing on a first visit now work, and dates show your own day

  • Features that did nothing on a first visit now work. On a first visit, the Punch List Drafter now lists your recordings, the RFI Drafter’s Spec/Drawing, Meeting question and Manual buttons respond, Daily Log + RFI and + Punch open their forms, the PO vs Invoice toggle appears, Notices show their records, My Work approval lines open, and a saved PM Contract Summary opens again.
  • Dates show your own day in the evening. The RFQ Generator’s issued date, the purchase order date, an RFI’s date initiated and the date it is closed, the Daily Log date and the Schedule milestone tile now use your day instead of tomorrow’s after the evening turns over. OVERDUE counts whole calendar days from the due date.
  • Meetings: the Owner view hides pricing rows. In the Meetings Owner view, rows about vendor pricing are hidden as the button says they are. The live recording clock now counts up and the wave bars move, and Linked records show the action text instead of a bare TASK.
  • Clicking a cost code in the Budget tracker works again. It shows that cost code’s transactions instead of an error.
  • Schedule bars move again. Dragging, resizing and shifting bars on the Schedule works again.
v5.94 October 3, 2026

Opportunities: real leads, ranked for your trade and region

  • Opportunities: leads ranked by fit. In Sales mode, the left menu has a new Opportunities view that lists projects worth a look before anyone issues an RFQ. Each lead is scored 0 to 100 for how well it fits your trade, your region, project size and type, and the GCs, developers and architects you already know, with a plain reason line for every part of the score.
  • Real leads arrive every night. Each night Trueleveler reads free public sources and adds the leads that fit each company to its own list: federal construction notices from SAM.gov; building permits from the City of Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, Beverly Hills, Pasadena, Nashville, Columbus, Detroit and Louisville; and public construction bids from Los Angeles RAMP and the New York City Record, plus RAMP’s awards. Los Angeles permits are read at any size, going back 180 days, for new buildings, additions and alterations; one- and two-family homes are left out.
  • Every lead says where it came from. A lead from the feed shows its source, the day it was posted (for a permit, the day it was issued or filed), and a link to open the notice or the bid, or the permit number and city. Permits and notices are public records, not invitations to bid, and a federal or public-bid lead may show the contracting office’s or agency’s place rather than the job site. A city with no feed yet has no permit leads.
  • “Likely” tags say why. When a source does not say whether work is public or private, whether prevailing wage applies, or which trades a new building involves, Opportunities may show its best guess as Likely, with the reason beside it. These guesses come from fixed rules, not from an AI model; they are never saved as fact, and anything a person or a file states wins over them.
  • A quiet filter bar. The bar holds a keyword box, + Filter, Sort and the count. + Filter adds a chip for state, city, near a place, trade, stage, square feet, project value, public or private, prevailing wage, general contractor, developer, architect, bid due or source; press a chip to change it, its x removes it, and Clear all drops them. Sort by best fit, bid date, value, square feet or newest.
  • Work a lead. Add a lead by hand or import a CSV file (up to 500 rows, all or nothing), edit any lead, keep notes and see the activity on each, and Save, Dismiss or Delete up to 100 at once. Pursue sends a lead into the Pipeline as an opportunity with its project, once. Owners and admins can export the company’s leads as a CSV file.
  • Your own ranges narrow the list. Set a value range and a building-size range in your Pursuit profile, in Settings, and a lead whose known value or size falls outside them is not added to your list. A lead that does not state a value or a size is never counted against you.
  • Who gets how many. Paid plans and trials get the full list. A company gets leads once it has set its trade in Settings or named a state or city in its Pursuit profile; a general contractor, which has no trade, uses the profile. Each night adds up to 150 new leads per company (500 on a company’s first night), and a list holds up to 1,000. The Free plan shows how many leads matched this month and three rows with the details hidden, not the list.
v5.93 October 3, 2026

My Board puts the charts first, and your data download leaves out pay rates

  • My Board: the charts come first. The Board card, the Showing card and the toolbar are now one slim bar, so the first chart starts near the top of the page instead of below three boxes. The board’s name is a menu on the left, the project and the dates are chips behind + Filter (with Clear all), and Edit board and a … menu with Rename board and Delete board are on the right.
  • Undo after you remove a tile. Remove a tile from My Board and a notice says so, with Undo for eight seconds. Nothing is saved until the notice ends, so Undo really undoes it; on a shared board the notice says the change reaches your whole company.
  • Smaller fixes you’ll notice. The keyboard focus ring shows again on the rows of a My Board list tile and on both Clear filter buttons, placeholder text in form fields is readable in both themes, and an empty Saved, Pursued, Dismissed or finished Open tab on Opportunities says why instead of offering a Clear all that cleared nothing.
  • Your data download leaves out pay rates. A worker’s hourly, overtime and fringe rates, the pay rate and cost on a time entry, and the rate and total on each labor line of a T&M ticket are no longer in the ZIP, because the app shows them only to people who hold the View labor & wages permission. The rest of each record stays, and the download says what was left out.
  • Closing a company cleans up after itself. When a company closes, the copies of its insurance, company-by-year and OSHA records inside the audit log are blanked, and the log lines stay.
  • Four small fixes. The Schedule header says “No critical activity in progress” instead of “No active critical path”, which could read as no critical path at all. The Daily Log PDF’s Contractor line uses your company’s name when the project names no contractor. Settings > Company > Branding shows your saved logo in its square. And the logo in the top bar is display only: it no longer offers to remove itself, and a logo is removed only in Settings > Company > Branding.
  • The printed full schedule fits the page. The full schedule now prints with the whole chart on the page instead of running off the right edge. The date row shows days, weeks, months or quarters according to how long the schedule is, its date labels are larger, its date header repeats on every printed page, and a page never breaks through the middle of an activity. Dates also stay right across the day the clocks go back.
  • A few lines and corners are drawn as designed. Nineteen style rules had been written in the wrong order, so some lines never drew. The active tab on project panels and task details now shows its amber underline, Pulse chat bubbles have a tight corner like a speech bubble, the Partial analysis and Critical Gaps notices show their colored left bar, and the divider line inside an answer draws.
v5.92 October 2, 2026

A Company Qualification Package, and safety incidents that say who was hurt

  • Company Qualification Package. Settings has a new Qualification data tab for what a general contractor asks a subcontractor for when it qualifies you and Trueleveler cannot know on its own: your insurance policies; revenue, net income, bonding capacity, surety, EMR and litigation by year; the hours worked; and injuries that happened off the platform. One button builds the package as a PDF and another as a spreadsheet: company profile, insurance, bonding, financials, safety (OSHA 300 and 300A worksheets, TRIR, DART and EMR) and litigation, closing with who prepared it and when. A help article walks through it.
  • Every blank says “Needs input.” Anything you have not entered prints as “Needs input” and names the screen that fills it, and a failed read says so instead of printing a zero. TRIR and DART stay “Needs input” until the year’s hours are in and every recordable incident says who was injured. The OSHA pages are a worksheet to help you fill in the forms, not an OSHA form, and not a statement that you comply with anything.
  • Who can see it and who can change it. Everyone in your company can open the tab and build the package, but only owners and admins can change the data. Revenue, net income, bonding, EMR and litigation follow the money rules: you need View financials to see them and View financials plus Export financial reports to include them in the package. Sections you are not allowed to see are left out, and the package says so.
  • Safety incidents ask who was hurt. The Safety incident form now asks for worker type (employee, temporary or leased worker, a subcontractor’s worker or a visitor), job title and injury type, has a privacy-case box, and can link the incident to a worker with a search-as-you-type picker. An incident that does not say who was injured is not counted as your own until it does.
  • A privacy case’s name stays private. A privacy case prints as “Privacy case” in the package, and its name is hidden on the web, in the list, the detail and exports, from everyone who may not edit the incident.
  • Hours from your time entries. On the Qualification data screen, Fill from time entries adds up a year’s hours from your time entries as a suggestion. Nothing is saved until you click.
  • Your data download includes the company’s records. The owner and admin data download now has a company folder with your insurance policies, company-by-year figures, OSHA hours and cases, sales leads and Pursuit profile. A person who left, or moved to a lower role, gets none of it, and a closing company’s records are erased with it.
v5.91 October 1, 2026

Paid purchase orders you can correct, and reports that print properly

  • A paid purchase order is locked. Once a payment is on record, a purchase order’s lines, tax rate, vendor, date and status are locked, and so are a paid item’s amount, payment, status, vendor and PO number. Notes, terms, ship-to address and vendor contact can still be changed, from an Edit notes and terms form. A paid order can no longer be deleted or cancelled.
  • Adjust this PO. To put a paid order right, add a correction beside it: one dated line, plus or minus, with a reason and the name of whoever made it. A Corrections card shows the original total next to the adjusted one; job cost, the budget line and work in progress count it at once; the ledger gets its own entry dated today; and the vendor’s PDF carries a Corrections after payment section. Record a refund or an extra payment when the money moves, and void a correction made in error.
  • Reverse payment. When the payment itself was wrong (wrong vendor, paid twice, wrong amount, returned), Reverse payment takes it back: the items go back to owed, the ledger gets a mirror-image entry dated today, and the original payment stays on record on a Payment reversals card. The 1099 list keeps a payment in the year it was made and prints a note when one was returned in a later year.
  • A second person approves the big ones. If your company sets a limit under Payment approval in Settings, a correction or reversal at or above it waits for a second person who holds Approve payments. The person who prepared it can never approve it, but can withdraw it. The limit now measures the whole purchase order, tax included, and a cancelled order can no longer go out for signature.
  • Create PO for item-only PO numbers, and an Export menu that opens. A PO number that exists only on Procurement items now offers Create PO, which makes the purchase order from those items without changing them. The Export menu on the Purchase Orders tab opens inside the page instead of being clipped, and Escape closes it. The PDF viewer says why a save to Documents was refused.
  • Your logo on the vendor PO PDF. The vendor purchase order PDF carries your company logo from Settings, and its From, Vendor and Ship to boxes are three equal boxes with the label above the value. Pick any PNG, JPEG, WebP, GIF or SVG as your logo: it is prepared as a PNG and saved for your team, Save changes keeps it, and a failed save says why.
  • Printed reports open and print properly. The RFQ, the contract summary, the contract cheat sheet and the full schedule open in their own tab again and print with their own colors and tables, instead of opening blank or as plain stacked text.
  • Schedule wording and a calmer Schedule tab. A one-week schedule now says “one week” and a one-day activity says “1 day”, and the Look-ahead PDF says “1 trade” and “1 activity at risk”. People who may not manage the schedule’s progress links no longer see a red “couldn’t load” box.

September 2026

v5.90 September 29, 2026

Money screens that show their working, and paperwork before a retainage release

  • Money screens show their working. Where a figure would rest on missing costs or a missing budget, the Work in Progress report and its CSV, project home, My Board and its PDF, and the payables strip now show “—” and the reason, or the true figure with a caution, instead of a confident number. A WIP percentage never rounds up to 100 or down to 0 unless it is exact, and each headline figure shows how it was worked out.
  • Totals and forecasts that add up. The Owner Report and the PM Handoff no longer call a job that is over budget on budget. One forecast rule (a forecast you typed, otherwise actual cost plus open commitments plus the uncommitted budget) now runs through the Owner Report, PM Handoff, Budget screen, Command Center and WIP, and reads “not enough cost data” when it has too little. Schedule Risk keeps your plan’s own start dates, so it no longer forecasts a finish before the plan. The pay-application PDF counts change orders once, the 1099 list keeps one line per tax ID and warns when a payee is split, and dates on money records follow your company’s time zone.
  • Before you release a subcontractor’s retainage. Release on the retainage panel now opens Before you release, which lists the paperwork on file and what is missing: lien waivers waiting for verification, the final lien waiver and the insurance certificate. It is information only and does not stop the release.
  • Sales and use tax gets its own account. Sales and use tax on purchase orders now posts to its own account in the General Ledger and shows on its own Taxes budget line, and a Tax account control in the General Ledger lets each company choose where it posts.
  • Leaving a company, cleanly. Removing a teammate signs them out everywhere, and the projects, vendors and other records they entered stay with the company. Deleting your own account now always finishes, and the company keeps what you entered. An owner can’t delete their account while teammates remain; the message says how to move on.
v5.89 September 29, 2026

Engines that check their own quotes, and reports that agree

  • Contract Review checks its quotes. Every quote and clause number in a finding is looked up in the documents the review was shown. A finding whose quote is not found stays, with the quote removed and “Quote not found in your document”; a quote from beyond the cut-off is marked “Document was cut off”. The summary line and the labels appear on screen, in the PDF, in the emailed copy and in the Word and Excel exports.
  • Bid Leveling names the same winner everywhere. The screen, the PDF, the emailed report and the decision memo now use one ranking, so they name the same vendor. In the emailed report each vendor’s prices sit under its own name, and it carries the screen’s warnings and your logo. A quote without item numbers is no longer squashed into one line.
  • Change Order Review says what it judged. Savings now count only what the review judged: disputed lines, and the part of an excessive line above its re-price. Everything else that is not recommended appears as its own figure, Not decided, for you to review. The double-billing check also sees purchase orders made on the PO screen, and a failed check says so instead of showing zero.
  • PM Handoff in one PDF, by email. Download PDF and Export PDF now produce the same numbered report, and Email this handoff sends it, with the PDF attached, to one person you type in.
  • RFI and submittal days start when they were sent. An RFI or a submittal is now counted from the day it was sent to the day it was answered or returned, or to today while it waits, everywhere it is shown. One never sent has no age and says so.
v5.88 September 27, 2026

Documents free of internal details, and a Retry when an analysis fails

  • Emailed-link pages display properly again. The RFI, submittal, change order and T&M reply pages, the owner pay-application view, bid invitations, meeting minutes, photo albums and the insurance and pay-application upload forms had lost their styling, and the two upload forms their Submit button. They look and work as they should again.
  • Documents you issue carry no internal details. The “verify against source documents” line now appears only on AI analyses. Your pay applications, purchase orders, RFQs, proposals, notices, RFI records and registers no longer carry audit strips or internal ids, no PDF shows the model details of the run, and a purchase order says who issued it.
  • The RFI register counts what the tracker counts. Drafts are left out of the register’s counts, and a reply sent through the no-login link prints the responder’s name and date on the RFI PDF, in the register’s recent answers and on the iPhone.
  • Your company details on your documents. The company name, address and phone saved in Settings print on the pay application (G702), the proposal and the purchase order. A draft, rejected or voided pay application is watermarked on every page and says it is not certified, and a cancelled purchase order cannot be emailed to a vendor.
  • A failed analysis offers Retry. When Bid Leveling, Contract Review, Scope Check, RFQ Generator or Change Order Review fails, the screen stops the run, keeps your files and shows a plain message with Retry, instead of a short pop-up. A malformed reply no longer reads as “Session expired”.
  • Ask Pulse reads RFIs, punch items and insurance certificates again. Ask Pulse could not read those three trackers and treated them as empty. It reads them again, and when a read fails it says so under the answer.
  • Upgrade opens checkout, and the job switch refreshes the tracker. See Plans and Upgrade on the paywall and the run-limit banner open the checkout in the app instead of the pricing page, and switching job from the header refreshes the tracker you have open.
  • Marking a purchase order Paid reaches the books. Setting a purchase order to Paid from the PO list now records the payment on its items, through the same approval limit as an item payment, so the ledger’s vendor-payment posting and the 1099 see it. It refuses, with the reason, when a dollar on the order has nowhere to be booked. Credits and discounts written as “(1,000.00)” or “1,000.00 CR” keep their sign in document comparisons, the PO invoice ledger and Pay App Audit instead of being added as charges.
  • Trial companies can add their first teammates. A company on a trial can now invite and accept its first teammates. The Team page shows the real number of seats left, and where the plan is full it points to the plan that has more seats.
  • Safety, QA/QC, permit and inspection records are voided or removed, not erased. Delete on a safety incident is now Void incident, as the iPhone app already did; delete on a QA/QC item, permit or inspection is Remove. The record stays on file with who changed it and when, and drops out of lists, counts and the OSHA-style log. A Voided toggle shows voided incidents.
v5.87 September 24, 2026

My Board, a daily log you review before it goes out, and your data in one ZIP

  • My Board: build your own dashboard. Pick a tracker — RFIs, submittals, change orders, T&M tickets, tasks, inspections, QA/QC, safety incidents, back-charges, lien waivers, permits, bonds, notices, contracts, insurance certificates or owner pay applications — choose what to count, total or average, and group it by any of its fields: trade, assignee, vendor, project, or a date by week, month, quarter or year. Tiles sit on one canvas as a number with its change since the previous period, bars, a line, a donut, a list, a table or a pivot, each with its own filters, under one project-and-date scope for the whole board. In a list, table or pivot, any value opens the records behind it; templates add ready-made tiles, voided records stay out unless you add them back, and a board can be shared with your company. You’ll find it under Insights.
  • Finance lives in Analytics. The Finance Dashboard’s boards — KPI tiles, the WIP table, the 13-week cash curve, snapshots and period close — moved into Analytics’ Financial lens. WIP views now say whether you’re looking at live figures, a frozen snapshot of a closed period or an approximation for a past date. Retainage Held reads your ledger, the cash forecast is the same 13-week projection the Cash Flow tracker shows, and the portfolio dashboard adds projected margin by job, with totals for contract value, blended margin, backlog, jobs at risk and underbilling.
  • Review a daily log before it goes out. Exporting a daily log now opens a review step where you can drop lines, fix typos, choose which photos go in and edit or remove their captions. Edits change that PDF only — the log itself is never rewritten, and the tracker’s edit control is still the way to correct an entry. The client copy no longer carries internal audit details or an analysis disclaimer.
  • Weather you can put in a record. Daily-log weather now works for back-dated logs, even months back — past days use historical weather data, not a forecast — and for projects entered with a full street address. A day with no published data says so instead of recording zeros, and a trace of rain is logged as trace rather than 0 in. The Daily Log Synthesizer uses the same weather data instead of guessing from voice notes.
  • Tell Trueleveler your trade. Choose your company’s trades by CSI division in the setup wizard or in Settings. Closeout Builder, Submittal Reviewer, Scope Builder, Punch List Drafter, Warranty Compiler, As-built Reconciler, Daily Log Synthesizer and Change Order Review then look for what that trade typically owes and describe it in the trade’s own words — the test reports and commissioning records a closeout should include, the certifications a submittal must carry, what you furnish versus what’s by others — and photo descriptions use the same vocabulary.
  • Your project data, in one ZIP. “Export all project data” in Settings now builds a ZIP of the projects you own — tracker records, daily logs, meetings, budgets, purchase orders, time entries, warranties and the files in Documents — and emails you a download link when it’s ready. A manifest inside names anything not included yet, including any files past the archive’s size limit, rather than calling the export complete.
  • More of the job in the iPhone app. QA/QC, change orders, T&M tickets, lien waivers, permits, bonds, contracts, procurement, insurance certificates, notices, inspections, equipment, meeting actions and pay applications each have a tile with a count, and their detail screens open expanded. Create T&M tickets, procurement items, QA/QC items and inspections in the field; see which insurance certificates have lapsed and open the certificate itself; open contract, bond, permit, lien-waiver and inspection documents from their records; and the safety list always belongs to the project you have open. Signed up with Google? Sign in with Google on the mobile web, or add a password to your account on the web to use the app.
  • An accessibility pass. Clickable rows, cards and table cells now work from the keyboard, the focus ring shows on the controls where it had been switched off, and form fields and pickers have names a screen reader can announce. Confirmation dialogs keep focus inside and no longer confirm when you Tab to Cancel and press Enter; low-contrast text, badges and focus indicators were fixed in both themes; small icon buttons got bigger targets; and site pages have a skip link to the main content. The pages owners, GCs and subs open from emailed links got the same treatment, including insurance and pay-app uploads that work from the keyboard.
  • A faster start. New accounts can open a read-only Demo Project, clearly marked Demo, to look around a sample job before setting up their own. Creating a project asks only for a name, with everything else optional; the setup wizard asks for your trades; and a file uploaded during setup now goes into the engine you pick instead of being dropped. In the sidebar, Pulse Health is now Project Health, Pulse Q&A is Ask the Docs, and the workspace switch reads Portfolio.
  • Privacy and access, tightened. New team members get financial and wage visibility only when their role grants it, and a resent invite keeps its role. 1099 reports show only the last four digits of a tax ID. Sharing your awarded prices with the anonymized market benchmark is off unless an owner or admin turns it on in Settings, and turning it off removes them at once. Behind these, a broad set of access-control and data-isolation fixes landed across the platform.
  • Fixes you’ll notice. PDF, DWG and DXF files attached to an RFI are now actually sent with it, and older RFIs mark any attachment that was never stored so you can re-attach it. A desktop meeting recording that lost part of its audio keeps its true length instead of passing as a shorter meeting. Company owners are recognized as owners in company settings and finance permissions even when their team record said otherwise. Emails that reach a project are sorted and tagged again, and reopening or voiding a certified pay application that had posted retainage no longer fails.
  • Numbers that don’t quietly come up short. WIP, 1099 and certified-payroll reports, the trial balance and the financial statements now stop and say so when they can’t read all of their data, instead of showing a short total. A stale emailed link can no longer reverse a change order that has already been decided, and CSV exports neutralize anything a spreadsheet would run as a formula.
v5.86 September 23, 2026

Trackers that close their own loops

  • Schedule shifts you approve. Link a schedule activity to an RFI or a change order. When an RFI or change order that carries a schedule impact is answered or approved, a proposed date shift waits on the Schedule for you to accept or dismiss, and every accepted shift is logged — nothing moves on its own.
  • A real Gantt behind the share link. The no-login schedule link you send an owner’s rep or a sub now opens an interactive Gantt with bars and the critical path, instead of a progress summary.
  • Procurement that follows through. Expedite opens an email to the vendor pre-filled with the required-on-job and forecast delivery dates, for you to edit and send. Purchase orders can go out for signature through DocuSign as well as by email. Find substitute suggests alternatives you’ve bought before in the same CSI code or division. On a buyout PO, Suggest terms proposes payment, retainage and warranty terms for the trade and value — plus project-specific clauses if you describe what’s special — and nothing is applied until you choose to use it. Approved submittals go into the Procurement tracker in one click, and draft POs can now be deleted and the PO list exported to CSV.
  • Notices that don’t slip. Issued notices awaiting a response now send reminder emails 7, 3 and 1 day before the response deadline. A notice can be linked to the change order, RFI or pay application that triggered it, and to the vendor it concerns, which brings that vendor’s lien waivers and insurance onto the notice.
  • Punch lists that route themselves. Items drafted from a walk are assigned to the matching subcontractor in your Vendor Directory by trade, and the manual form fills in the assignee company when you pick a trade. Punch-tagged observations from a meeting’s field walk become punch items, and once 80% of a list is closed a banner offers to schedule the walk-back with the open items attached.
  • Tasks close with their change order. A task created from a change order now closes itself when that change order is approved.
  • Meeting records that hold up. Pause a recording for an off-the-record moment and nothing in the gap is captured. Decisions taken from a recording now note who made the call and when, where the meeting makes that clear. Each project can set how long raw meeting audio is kept, with a legal hold that stops deletion, while transcripts are always kept. Transcript exports flag phone numbers, email addresses and ID numbers for review before they leave the app, and transcript timestamps line up with the audio more reliably.
  • Safety and quality, from the field. Drop a safety-incident pin on a drawing in the web viewer, as you already could on the phone; revoke a worker’s training record when a certificate is pulled; and add photos to a QA/QC item while you create it, not only after saving. Safety incidents captured by voice now keep their corrective action.
  • Warranties and closeout, in one place. Warranty rows can be edited — manufacturer, model, serial number and registration link — and each can carry an uploaded warranty document, and entries the Warranty Compiler isn’t sure of are flagged for review instead of dropped. Closeout Builder can export a ZIP of the package PDF with the warranty and O&M documents.
  • One record, one PDF — with your logo. RFIs, tasks, schedule items, lien waivers, bonds, vendors, punch items, back-charges, QA/QC items, insurance certificates, budget cost codes, permits and equipment can each be exported as a PDF on their own, and the four submittal documents now share the same house style. Nearly every exported report, proposals included, now carries your company logo from Settings in place of ours.
  • A price range before quotes arrive. Cost Estimate in the Vendor Directory gives a range for a CSI division from your own past bids and, once enough companies opt in to share pricing, the wider market — and says plainly when there isn’t enough data yet.
  • Submittals at a glance. The Submittals tracker shows your average review turnaround, and Submittal Reviewer numbers its findings separately for each spec section in a package.
v5.85 September 23, 2026

Engines that check against more of your project

  • Pay App Review checks more. It now reads a sub’s billing against your schedule and the crew counts in your daily logs, and flags any line whose percent complete jumps sharply from the previous review. Pick the subcontract before running and it checks the billed retainage against that subcontract’s rate; with no rate to compare, it says it couldn’t verify retainage instead of passing it.
  • Change Order Review looks for work already paid. Approved T&M tickets on the project are checked for scope a change order bills again, the review shows whether the affected work sits on your schedule’s critical path, and the contract clauses it quotes are checked against the contract text itself.
  • Quote, PO and invoice comparisons catch more. They now flag changed retainage, delivery schedules and warranty terms, T&M hourly-rate creep, not-to-exceed overruns and materials marked up beyond the agreed terms. PO vs Invoice tracks unit-rate drift across the invoices posted against a PO, and each flagged line comes with a suggested correction you can send the vendor.
  • Bid Leveling reads more of the quote. Word (.doc and .docx) quotes can be uploaded, lines are grouped by CSI division on screen and in the PDF, and vendor retainage and payment terms are pulled out when a quote states them. A scanned quote with no readable text is refused instead of being leveled as if the sub had skipped the scope, and the exported PDF fills its Description column and adds an item-number column.
  • Quotes you can check. When RFI Drafter, Notice Builder, Submittal Reviewer, Change Order Review or Pay App Review quotes one of your documents, the quote is now checked against the document’s text, and one that can’t be found is dropped rather than shown. Scope Builder and Bid Scope Compliance cite page numbers, and Contract Review and Bid Scope Compliance refuse a scanned document with no readable text instead of scoring it.
  • “Already answered?” works again. The check that looks for an answer in your project documents before you file an RFI works again.
  • Owner Report and PM Handoff Report fill themselves in. Owner Report now pulls schedule progress, budget, change orders, RFI and submittal status, the risk register and a photo log straight from the project, and writes its narrative around those figures. PM Handoff Report adds an open-items register of pending change orders, RFIs and submittals, and a budget-and-schedule snapshot.
  • Bid vs Actual names the cause. Each trade that ran over or under now carries a root cause — buyout swing, owner scope and change orders, field conditions, or labor hours over estimate — with the dominant one marked. Change orders can be tagged with a reason (scope change, design error, field condition, coordination), and budget lines take an estimated-hours figure for the labor check.
  • Schedule Risk learns from your project. Open RFIs are judged against your own design team’s response times once the project has enough closed RFIs, severe risks recorded in meeting minutes count as drivers, and you can switch any driver off and recompute the forecast on the spot.
  • Field Daily Report shows more. The PDF now includes equipment on site, work completed, materials delivered and visitors. And the Daily Log Synthesizer flags staffing drops or spikes by trade against the previous two weeks of logs.
  • Edit a generated scope. Scope Builder scopes can be edited after they’re generated, and each save tells you what you added and removed.
v5.84 September 22, 2026

Subcontractors and GCs on the same record, and approvals in one place

  • Send it to your GC. If your company is set up as a subcontractor, change orders, RFIs and T&M tickets have a Send to GC button, and any submittal can be sent out with Send for Review. The recipient opens an emailed link — no account or password — and answers the RFI; approves, rejects or comments on the change order or T&M ticket; or returns the submittal as Approved, Approved as Noted, Revise and Resubmit or Rejected. The response lands back on your record. GCs can use Send for Review on submittals too, for the architect or engineer.
  • A pay application drafter for subs. Subcontractors can draft their own AIA-style pay application — totals are always recomputed from the line items — and send it to their GC, whose approval, rejection or comment shows on the draft.
  • Invite a subcontractor onto your project. From a project’s Command Center, a GC can invite a sub by email without giving them a team seat. The sub gets a link to a read-only page showing only their own change orders, RFIs, T&M tickets and submittals, plus any Documents folders you choose to share, and can keep that access by signing in. You see each invite’s status and can revoke it at any time, and nothing in Documents is shared until you open a folder’s … menu and choose Share with subs.
  • GC or subcontractor, asked once. New companies choose GC or Subcontractor at sign-up, and existing companies are asked once. Onboarding, tracker wording and navigation follow the answer: a sub sees Send to GC and its own pay application drafter, and wording that assumed a GC’s seat now reads correctly for a sub.
  • A real signature on T&M tickets. Send a T&M ticket to the sub’s foreman for signature: they sign it off by name, or dispute it with a reason, on their own device through an emailed link. A ticket can also be downloaded as a PDF.
  • Insurance certificates, with less chasing. Send a subcontractor a reusable upload link: they drop in their certificate without an account, the fields fill in from the document, and nothing becomes a record until you accept it. Upload a stack of certificates at once and review each row before anything is created. Your own uploads read photos (JPEG, PNG, WebP) as well as PDFs, Builder’s Risk is tracked alongside the other coverages, including lapse alerts, each project can hold its contract minimums with underinsured policies flagged, and confirming a delivery from a vendor whose coverage has expired now asks you first.
  • Approvals in one place. My Work has a new Approvals section for the change orders, T&M tickets, submittals and owner pay apps waiting on your decision, and for payment approvals if you can sign them off — the Procurement tracker filters to exactly those. Command Center adds tiles for approvals, pending change orders, pay apps outstanding and open deadlines, and project deadlines, lien deadlines and owner pay apps can now be assigned to a person.
  • Pick the company, not just type it. Change orders, RFIs, submittals and T&M tickets can be tied to a Vendor Directory entry instead of free text, so each record points at the right company.
v5.83 September 21, 2026

Statistics we could not source, removed

  • We stopped citing research we could not point you to. Several figures on the site were attributed to named industry bodies — AGC, CFMA, ENR, FMI, Deloitte — with no link to the document behind them, and the same organisations appeared under different publication names on different pages. One was a hiring survey cited as the source of a procurement figure. That is not a citation, so we removed the attributions rather than dress them up: every remaining figure now says plainly that it is our own estimate and not a published number. A build check keeps it that way — a named source has to carry a link to the source, or it does not get named.
v5.82 September 10, 2026

Subcontractors get their own directory

  • A dedicated Subcontractor Directory. Subcontractors were sharing the Vendor Database with material suppliers — different information (license, bonding, insurance, prequalification), same list. They now have their own Subcontractor Directory: trade, license status, bonding capacity and surety, and live-resolved insurance status, without material-purchasing fields cluttering the view. Existing subcontractor data carried over automatically — nothing to re-enter.

August 2026

v5.81 August 27, 2026

More room for your field crew, and a Safety Manager role

  • Full seats and Field seats. Subcontractors routinely need more than a flat 3-seat cap the moment field crew need their own accounts. Foreman and Superintendent are now Field seats — unlimited on every paid tier — while office and money roles still count against your plan’s seat limit. Every existing team member keeps counting exactly as before; this only ever adds headroom once you reassign someone.
  • Mobile: 14 more record types get a real screen. QA/QC items, change orders, T&M tickets, lien waivers, permits, bonds, contracts, procurement, insurance certificates, notices, inspections, equipment, meeting actions and pay applications now open to a real detail view — with comments and @mentions — from a notification, instead of a “view on desktop” card.
  • DocuSign signature status that updates itself (coming soon). Status updates for documents sent from your own DocuSign account — sent, delivered, completed, declined — aren’t automatic yet; until they are, set an envelope’s status by hand in the register. (Corrected September 26, 2026: this entry first said the feature was live.)
  • A dedicated Safety Manager role. A new built-in team preset for the person who owns your safety module: write access to daily logs, safety incidents and QA/QC, with no budget, procurement or sales access.
  • A reliability pass. A dropped-audio issue on longer tray-minimized recordings, a Mac download that could serve an unsigned installer, and a mobile notification for equipment that silently did nothing when tapped — all fixed. The chatbot’s source links now show up even when it can only partially answer a question.
v5.80 August 20, 2026

A command center for every project, and a way to close the loop with vendors

  • Command Center — a live home for every project. Open a project and see where it actually stands: cash-flow gauges from committed through incurred, billed, collected and retainage; open counts across Tasks, RFIs, Submittals and Punch List; field signals for crew, safety, today’s daily log and weather; and a running notes board. It replaces the old project dashboard — everything the old one did well is still there.
  • Send RFQs and POs straight to vendors. Request quotes from the RFQ package you’ve already put together, or issue a purchase order to an awarded vendor — sent from Trueleveler and tracked from the record, with the send date and recipient kept alongside it. Vendor quotes still land back in your bid inbox automatically.
  • Agenda-first project meetings. A structured meeting mode that pulls your live tracker data — RFIs, submittals, punch list, budget, schedule, safety — in as talking points, with one note field per topic. Turn a note into a task inline, and it links back to both the meeting and the record it came from.
  • Compose Email, in beta. Draft an email in plain English and have it checked against this project’s own documents before you send — anything the draft can’t confirm is flagged inline for you to double-check, never blocked. Free while in beta.
  • Always know which workspace you’re in. The company dashboard now carries a clear Project / Sales / Finance marker, so switching lenses never looks like the app changed under you.
  • A reliability and data-integrity wave. A deep review across the financial reports, engines and access checks: totals, tie-outs and frozen period records now tell you plainly when something couldn’t be read and to try again, rather than ever showing a confident zero — and the checks that keep each company’s data to itself are tighter. The kind of work you notice as things simply behaving.
v5.79 August 8, 2026

Email your bids in, measure on photos, and a big reliability wave

  • Email bid intake is live. Every project can turn on a private forwarding address — subs email their quotes, the attachments land in your bid inbox automatically, and “Level these” pulls them straight into Bid Leveling’s vendor slots.
  • A public API and outbound webhooks. Read your projects and records over a documented REST API with scoped keys, and subscribe endpoints to signed event webhooks — both managed from Settings.
  • Measure on photos, on the web. Scale, length, area, and count measurements now work on photo markups in the browser, matching the iPhone app.
  • Text markup grew up. Drag a text box’s corners and the type adapts to fit — on web and phone. Long notes wrap on the phone exactly as they do on the web.
  • Comment threads on procurement records with @mentions that only notify people you actually picked.
  • A calmer way in. The sign-up dialog is wider, shorter, and no longer scrolls.
  • Under the hood, a deep review closed out. More than a hundred verified findings fixed across engine results, PDF exports, money math guards, and access control — the kind of work you notice as things simply behaving.
v5.78 August 2, 2026

Next-step suggestions land in the right place

  • No more duplicate or stray suggestions. The “what to try next” strip no longer doubles up on engines that already show a recommended next step, and it can no longer appear under a failed run, a cancelled run, or a different analysis you started in the meantime.
v5.77 August 2, 2026

Finding things, and knowing what to do next

  • Every engine is now searchable. Thirteen engines — including RFI Drafter, Submittal Reviewer and Notice Builder — couldn’t be found by name in the command palette (⌘K). All 28 are now there, with trackers and tools labelled as what they actually are.
  • “What to try next” stopped disappearing. On several engines the suggested next step was being wiped out the moment results rendered. It now survives on every engine, and Notice Builder — which had no next step at all — now points to change-order pricing and delay exposure.
  • Jump from a task back to the analysis that created it. Items raised by an engine now open that engine’s run record instead of dropping you on the History tab.
  • Which app do I need? Settings now explains the three surfaces — web, iPhone, and the Mac/Windows Meetings recorder.
  • The welcome pop-up stops following you. It now remembers it was shown, instead of reappearing on every reload.
v5.76 August 2, 2026

A clearer first screen for new accounts

  • See it work before you set anything up. A brand-new account now lands straight on the guided start — with “see it work, no upload” as the first thing you can click — instead of a welcome pop-up asking you to choose an engine before you’ve seen one run. The pop-up still greets you once you have a project.
v5.75 August 2, 2026

Welcome email for new accounts

  • A proper welcome. New accounts now get a short welcome email the first time they sign in, pointing to the fastest way to see Trueleveler work — the one-click sample, with nothing to upload. Sent once per account.
v5.74 August 2, 2026

A warmer first run for new accounts

  • See it work in one click. A brand-new account (no projects yet) now opens to a guided start with three clear paths — see a real analysis run with no setup, run your first analysis, or create a project — instead of a bare "create a project" button. The fastest path shows Bid Leveling analyzing a real bid set with nothing to upload.
  • No more waiting on an empty screen. New accounts land on that guided start immediately, rather than watching loading placeholders first.
v5.73 August 2, 2026

Team plan access & usage-count accuracy

  • Team members get full access. Members of an organization on a paid plan now inherit that plan automatically — they're no longer incorrectly asked to upgrade before running an engine.
  • Consistent usage counting. All three plan checks now count runs the same way and match the usage shown in your top-bar meter, so paying accounts are never gated early.
v5.72 August 2, 2026

Carried-forward documents stay with their project

  • Chained documents are now project-scoped. When you carry documents from one engine into the next, they now stay tied to the project you were in — opening a different project no longer risks pre-loading another project's files into its engine inputs.
  • Reconciliation triggers fixed. A serious or critical safety incident now correctly re-runs Schedule Risk, and a change order's schedule impact is now counted when the reconciliation queues that re-run.
v5.71 August 2, 2026

Engines fail safely on incomplete AI output

  • No more empty "all clear" results. If the AI returns an incomplete or unreadable response, the Submittal Reviewer, As-built Reconciler, and Pay App Review now stop and ask you to retry instead of saving a blank, falsely reassuring result (an empty submittal "Approved as Noted", a clean as-built with no redlines, or a $0 pay-app review). A genuine clean result — an as-built that truly reconciles with a written summary — still goes through as before.
v5.70 August 2, 2026

Tracker fixes & hardened document handling

  • Insurance, RFI, and Punch List trackers now run. A validation check was asking for a "second document" those three never use, which blocked them from starting. They now validate the document they actually need and run normally.
  • Hardened how the engines read uploaded documents. Every engine that analyzes an uploaded file — bids, invoices, COIs, contracts, submittals, RFIs, punch lists, and more — now treats that file strictly as data to analyze, never as instructions. A document can no longer try to steer the analysis (for example, "mark this approved"); the engine flags such text and reviews the real content, matching the guard the Pay App engine already carried.
v5.69 August 2, 2026

Guided first-run for new projects

  • A fresh project now shows you what to do next. Open a brand-new project and, instead of a wall of empty zero-tiles, you get a short "Get started" panel with three ways in: run your first analysis, see a worked example (Bid Leveling on a real bid set, no upload needed), or add your documents. The moment the project has any content — a document, a run, an RFI — the panel steps aside and the normal dashboard takes over.
v5.68 August 1, 2026

Pay App Review — Financial Controls now show

  • The Financial Controls section is back. On a pay-application review, the Financial Controls panel — budget vs actual, retainage, lien waivers, prompt-payment compliance, stored materials, back-charges, retention release, and the single-period billing-jump flags — was reading fields the engine never produced, so the entire section (and its risk flags) silently never appeared. It now renders the real analysis the reviewer computes, with a quick-glance pill row for front-loading, prompt-payment risk, incomplete lien waivers, and retention-release requests.
  • Sample refreshed. The built-in "try it" pay-app sample was rewritten to match, so the demo now shows the full review — line items, the flagged findings, and every financial-control panel — exactly as a live run does.
v5.67 August 1, 2026

Bid vs Actual & Pay App Review PDFs fixed

  • Bid vs Actual export. The headline numbers (bid total, actual total, variance %) were blank on the PDF. They now render the real figures from the cost aggregate, alongside the CSI variance table.
  • Pay App Review export. The exported pay-application review — the G702/G703 summary, the line-item schedule of values, the flagged findings, and the recommended-payment approval block — was coming out empty. It now renders the full reconciliation with correct dollar amounts, for both the deterministic review and the AI narrative reviewer.
v5.66 August 1, 2026

Five more engine PDF exports restored

  • No more blank exports. The PDF export for Contract Review, Submittal Reviewer, RFQ Generator, PM Handoff, and Equipment Scheduler was coming out empty — each read result fields that didn't match what the engine produces. All five now render their full report (clause findings + redlines, submittal findings + spec citations, the RFQ scope table, the PM handoff briefing, and the equipment reservation/conflict schedule), matching the on-screen result.
v5.65 August 1, 2026

Schedule Risk PDF export restored

  • Schedule Risk export. The exported PDF was coming out blank — the forecast bands, driver table, and completion-date stats. It now renders the full p50/p90 forecast, the drift from baseline, the ranked risk drivers, and the recommended actions, matching the on-screen report.
v5.64 August 1, 2026

Engine result headers & Bid Leveling export fixes

  • Correct result-header counts. The summary badges on several engine results (Schedule Risk, As-Built Reconciler, Bid vs Actual, Closeout Builder, Punch List Drafter, Submittal Reviewer) were reading the wrong field and always showed "0 activities / 0 differences / 0 deliverables". They now show the real counts, at-risk/critical badges, and project name.
  • Bid Leveling PDF. The exported PDF was silently dropping the entire Award Recommendation section (recommended vendor + award total). It's back.
v5.63 August 1, 2026

Faster task list & snappier RFI search

  • Task list performance. The task board and list rebuilt the whole item array once per parent task to find its subtasks — quadratic work that dragged on large projects. It now indexes subtasks in a single pass, so the view stays fast no matter how many tasks you have.
  • RFI search. Each keystroke in the RFI search box was triggering two full re-renders (and a brief cursor jump). It's now a single, cursor-preserving update.
v5.62 August 1, 2026

Revoking a collaborator now fully cuts off access

  • External-collaborator revoke. When an outside collaborator (subcontractor or reviewer) accepted an RFI or bid invitation, they got a lightweight account with access to that one record. Revoking or deleting the invitation used to stop the emailed link but leave their account access intact. Revoking now also revokes the account grant for that record — access ends immediately, scoped to exactly that collaborator and that record.
v5.61 August 1, 2026

Schedule sync no longer rolls a tracker backward

  • Advance-only reverse sync. Completing or dragging the date of a schedule item that is linked to a procurement, submittal, RFI, or punch-list record used to stamp that record with the delivery/approval milestone — which could knock a further-along record backward (e.g. a Paid purchase order reset to Delivered). The status now only ever moves forward; records already at or past the milestone keep their status while the date still syncs.
v5.60 August 1, 2026

Document-comparison PDF export fix

  • PO/Quote/Invoice exports. The PDF export for the document-comparison engines (PO vs Quote, PO vs Invoice, Quote vs Invoice) was mapping the wrong result fields and came out blank. It now renders the real totals, line-item amounts and quantities, per-line variance, and a flagged-exceptions list.
v5.59 August 1, 2026

Accessibility & SEO hygiene

  • Accessibility (from the audit). Audio/video playback now opens as a proper dialog with keyboard focus and Escape-to-close; general-ledger journal inputs and the sales-dashboard shortcuts are now labelled and keyboard-operable; and a duplicate page landmark was removed.
  • SEO hygiene. Dropped two redirecting URLs and a duplicate structured-data block, removed a redirect hop on the blog index, and allowed the OpenGraph image endpoint to be crawled.
v5.58 August 1, 2026

Progress → schedule completion fix

  • Pulling 100% from your drawings now completes the activity. "Pull % from drawings" was setting the percentage but not the status, so a fully-painted activity could still trigger a false "overdue" reminder and linger on My Work. It now marks the activity complete (unless its status is locked).
v5.57 August 1, 2026

Marketing accuracy pass

  • Honest claims (from the platform audit). Corrected the Business tier to its real 10 seats, the Free Trial to its real 15-run cap, and the refund window to the 14 days our Terms actually grant; removed an illustrative testimonial and reframed the $43K figure as the AGC/CFMA industry benchmark it's drawn from; marked the Procore/Autodesk connectors as on-the-roadmap; and aligned the Security & Privacy sub-processor lists with the binding DPA (naming Anthropic and Google as the AI providers and adding Sentry).
v5.56 August 1, 2026

Engine-result accuracy

  • From the platform audit (engines). The document-comparison "Total Match" badge now agrees with the recomputed totals below it (a green ✓ could previously sit over a flagged overbilling); Pay App Review no longer labels the entire requested draw as "potential savings" when the engine returned no recommended amount; setting a schedule baseline now covers schedules past 1,000 lines and no longer floods the database; and saved money figures render correctly in the results list.
v5.55 August 1, 2026

Security & correctness hardening

  • From a deep platform audit. Public schedule-progress share links now require the field-share permission (view-only members could previously mint one); the task board no longer shows a false "moved" when a save fails and now reverts; project-dashboard KPIs no longer briefly show a previous project's numbers; removed team members stop receiving overdue-item emails and are cleared from project rosters; and inbound-email AI triage is hardened against injected instructions.
v5.54 August 1, 2026

Platform atlas footer fix

  • Fixed a duplicated footer on the platform-atlas page (/how-trueleveler-works). The atlas generator was inlining the footer and also leaving a placeholder that the shared footer filled — now there's a single footer.
v5.53 August 1, 2026

Homepage drawer hotfix

  • Fixed the phase drawers on the homepage. A missing brace pair in a reduced-motion CSS block was swallowing the styles for everything below it, so opening a lifecycle phase showed its modules unstyled. Restored the closing braces; the module cards render correctly again.
v5.52 August 1, 2026

Progress & schedule correctness

  • Pre-launch review fixes. Painting a progress zone while a sheet's zones were still loading no longer drops it from view; a rough "sheet estimate" is no longer offered for linking to a budget line or schedule item (so it can't be pulled into a pay app); and closing a schedule item now also dismisses its assignee picker.
v5.51 August 1, 2026

Pricing page redesign

  • Rebuilt the pricing tiers as a proper four-plan card grid — Free Trial, Pro (Founding 25), Business, and Enterprise — with a highlighted founding tier, clear price hierarchy, and aligned calls to action across desktop and mobile.
v5.50 August 1, 2026

Homepage hero refinement

  • Restored the animated leveling preview under the drop zone on the homepage.
v5.49 August 1, 2026

Marketing accuracy pass

  • Honest claims. Equipment Scheduler is now shown as the shipped engine it is; enterprise SSO / SAML / SCIM are labeled as on the roadmap (Google Workspace sign-in is live today) to match the product exactly.
  • Site polish. Repaired the platform-atlas chain-graph links, added the Progress page to the footer, and tidied internal links for cleaner crawling.
v5.48 August 1, 2026

Security hardening

  • Pre-launch security review. Tightened collaborator-invite rate limits and made notification email subjects server-controlled, closing a content-spoofing path. Additional database access-control hardening on progress and comment records ships alongside.
v5.47 August 1, 2026

Faster, lighter, safer under the hood

  • Correctness at scale. Progress rollups, drawings, tasks, and schedule lists no longer silently truncate on very large projects; the Progress stage-weight table now lives in one shared place so rollup, trend, and painted % can never disagree.
  • Snappier everywhere. Drawing and markup drags render at display rate instead of storming full repaints; tracker searches debounce; the app ships over 100KB lighter after a dead-code sweep.
  • Failures now speak up. Field photo capture, schedule sync, and pay-app flows surface errors instead of losing work silently, and the mobile app can no longer be blanked by a stale cached page after an update.

July 2026

v5.46 July 31, 2026

Back-charges joins the tracker lineup

  • 23 trackers. Back-charges is now a first-class tracker across the platform and the site: document a back-charge against a sub with photo evidence, assign it, and track cost recovery — including creating one straight from any site photo on the phone.
v5.45 July 31, 2026

Progress everywhere: Pulse feed, rough estimates & phone batch tools

  • Zone activity in the Pulse feed. Painted zones and stage advances now show up in the project Pulse feed alongside engine runs and tracker activity — "Glazing zone advanced to Seal — Sheet A-204."
  • Rough sheet estimate. Not ready to paint? A sheet with no zones offers a quick 0–100% slider — the rough number flows into every rollup, and the moment someone paints a real zone it gracefully steps aside.
  • Batch assign on the phone. A Select mode in Progress lets you tap several zones and set their trade or status in one go — plus the 60-day trend chart now renders on the phone's Progress screen.
v5.44 July 30, 2026

Progress trend, batch assign & a Drawings lens

  • 60-day trend. The Progress view now charts your project's % complete over the last 60 days, rebuilt from the zone status history — see the slope, not just today's number.
  • Batch assign. Shift-click multiple zones in Progress mode and set their trade, legend, status, or SOV/schedule links in one panel — one undo reverses the whole batch.
  • Drawings lens on the projects list. Flip the Complete-% column to read straight from painted drawings; projects without zones show a dash, not a false 0%.
v5.43 July 30, 2026

Track installed quantities on progress zones

  • New Installed field. Count-based work now gets a real %: a zone with 500 cleats and 320 installed reads 64% everywhere — the sheet badge, the Progress view, schedule chips, and pay-app pulls. Type the installed amount in the zone editor (web or phone) and the percent follows; leave it empty and the status stages drive the % exactly as before.
v5.42 July 30, 2026

Progress gets a front door

  • New Progress view. A top-level Progress item under Field & Quality answers "how far along is the project?" from your painted zones: overall %, per-sheet rollup, per-trade breakdown, and an unlinked-zone triage list with one-click linking to schedule activities and SOV lines. Click any sheet to jump straight into the painter.
  • Paint first, assign later. Painting a zone saves it immediately — the trade, quantity, and links are now an optional refine step instead of a required form. Your last-used trade sticks, and on a calibrated sheet the quantity fills itself from the painted area.
  • Auto-link by trade. A new zone whose trade matches exactly one schedule activity or SOV line links itself — undoable, and skipped when the match is ambiguous.
  • Zones stay visible. Painted progress now renders dimmed on the sheet even with Progress mode off (toggle it in Layers), so the whole team sees the state of the work.
v5.41 July 30, 2026

Line types stay visible on thick strokes + a Spacing control

  • Thick dashed lines read as dashed. Dash patterns now grow with the stroke weight, so a heavy dashed, dotted, or center line keeps its gaps instead of merging into a solid bar. Default-weight marks render exactly as before.
  • New Spacing control. Spread a too-dense hatch or open up dash gaps: spacing chips (1×–3×) on the web toolbar and a Spacing slider (50–300%) in the phone style popover. Works on new marks, selected marks, and multi-selections — and the value follows the mark across web, phone, and PDF export.
v5.40 July 29, 2026

Fix: leaving Progress mode returns to your sheet

  • No more blank stage. Turning off Progress mode now re-renders the drawing and its thumbnail rail instead of leaving an empty page.
v5.39 July 29, 2026

Painted progress drives your billing & schedule

  • Pull % from drawings. A schedule activity or a G703 pay-app line that's linked to painted progress zones now shows the drawing-derived % complete — with a one-click Pull from drawings (and a Pull all on the pay-app) that sets the percent complete straight from the elevations you painted. Explicit action, draft pay-apps only; it never touches a manually entered number until you click.
  • If a line is already billed past its drawing % (prior periods can't be un-billed), it's left unchanged and you're told which ones.
v5.38 July 29, 2026

Progress reliability follow-ups

  • Billing % matches the sheet. When a zone uses a custom legend by trade name, the rolled-up percent for its SOV line and schedule item now resolves the legend exactly like the drawing does — so the numbers agree everywhere.
  • Deleting a custom legend no longer trips a save error on a zone that used it (it falls back cleanly), and the SOV/Schedule pickers ignore a stale response after you switch projects.
v5.37 July 29, 2026

Progress: your own trade legends + ties to billing & schedule

  • Editable trade legends. Build your own rules-of-credit — name a legend, add stages with their own weight and colour (glazing frame/glaze/seal, your way). Zones color and score by your legend, not just the built-in three.
  • Tie a zone to the SOV and the schedule. When you set up a zone you can now link it to a Schedule-of-Values (budget) line and a schedule activity — so a painted region knows which billing line and which task it drives.
v5.36 July 29, 2026

Progress mode gets its own tools

  • A dedicated Progress toolbar. Turning on Progress mode now swaps the full markup palette for its own compact bar — Select, Fill zone, Draw zone, and a status legend — so painting progress zones is its own clean workflow instead of borrowing the drawing tools. Turn it off and the markup tools are right back.
v5.35 July 29, 2026

Progress on a drawing, as a real percent-complete

  • Paint progress, drive the number. New Progress mode in the Drawings toolbar (next to Takeoff): turn it on, paint a region with Fill or Area, and bind it to a trade + quantity + status. Zones color-code by status, a single tap advances a zone to its next stage, and a live % complete badge — overall and per-trade — updates on the sheet.
  • Weighted by quantity, so it's honest. The percent is Σ(quantity × stage weight) ÷ Σ(quantity) — a small area at 100% and a large one at 10% weight correctly, not a naive average. Pull a quantity straight from a takeoff you've already measured.
  • Auditable. Every status change is logged. Works on elevations and floor plans, any trade — with built-in stage templates for glazing, drywall, and concrete.
v5.34 July 29, 2026

Fill & selection polish

  • Fill respects any boundary line. The Fill tool now recognizes white, pale, dashed, and dotted boundary lines as walls (not just solid dark ones), and no longer treats pins, text, or existing fills as walls — so it encloses the way you'd expect, matching the phone.
  • Fill big rooms. A genuinely-sealed area that fills most of a sheet (a warehouse floor, a site perimeter) no longer gets a false "not enclosed."
  • Dashed shapes are easy to click. Dashed or thin rectangles, ellipses, and clouds now have a full hit area — select them anywhere on the outline, not just on a dash.
  • Mobile: tap the inside of a filled area to select it; grouped line-type changes no longer dash a highlighter.
v5.33 July 29, 2026

Dashed lines are easy to select again

  • Click anywhere on the line. Dashed and dotted lines used to only respond to clicks that landed exactly on a dash — the gaps ignored you. Lines and arrows now carry an invisible full-width hit area, so you can select or grab them anywhere along their length, solid or dashed.
v5.32 July 29, 2026

Fill reaches all the way to your lines

  • No more thin gap. The Fill tool now grows the filled region right up to your drawn lines, closing the hairline gap that used to show along an edge — the hatch/fill meets the lines cleanly on every side.
v5.31 July 29, 2026

Fill sits cleanly inside your lines

  • No more double outline. The Fill tool no longer draws its own coloured border around the region — since you already drew the bounding lines, it just lays the hatch or fill inside them. The result reads as a clean fill contained by your lines, not a second outline fringing over them.
v5.30 July 29, 2026

Punch List is its own item again · sharper Fill

  • Punch List back on the sidebar. It's a one-click, top-level item under Field & Quality again — no longer buried as a tab inside "Quality." Quality now hosts the QA/QC Log; the punch route and search entry are unchanged.
  • Fill hugs your lines. The Fill tool now traces at higher resolution and fills right up to the drawn lines instead of stopping a few pixels short — so the hatch reaches the edges cleanly, closer to how a manually drawn area looks.
v5.29 July 29, 2026

Hatch & fill an enclosed area — plus group editing

  • Fill tool. Tap once inside a region enclosed by separate lines and it flood-fills the whole area — perfect for hatching a custom substrate you drew from individual segments. If the outline has a gap, it tells you to close it (or use the Area tool) instead of running away.
  • Area tool. Tap the corners of a region and tap the first point again (or double-tap / press Enter) to close it into a hatched, filled shape. Snaps to your grid and to other lines' endpoints as you go.
  • Edit several marks at once. Select multiple marks and the stroke width, fill, opacity, hatch, and line-type controls now apply to the whole selection in one step — with a single undo.
  • Sketches start from Drawings. The separate "New Sketch" header button is gone; start a scaled field sketch from the "New sketch" button inside the Drawings editor. (On the phone, use the Sketch tile.)
v5.28 July 29, 2026

Sketch endpoint snapping

  • Snap to other lines. When you draw or place a mark on a sketch, it now snaps to the endpoints, corners, and vertices of existing marks — so lines connect precisely to each other, not just to the grid. Takes priority over grid snap and works even with the grid off; hold Alt/⌘ to draw freely.
v5.27 July 28, 2026

Start a sketch from the project page

  • New Sketch quick-action. A "New Sketch" button now sits in the project header next to Project Pulse and Run Engine — one click opens the Drawings editor and starts a new scaled field sketch. (Sketches still live under Drawings.)
v5.26 July 23, 2026

Sketch refinements

  • Hatch a spline. Splines can now carry a fill or material hatch — draw a waterproofing-membrane outline and hatch the enclosed area while the outline stays a smooth curve.
  • Free-form sizing with the grid off. Turning the sketch grid off now also releases snap, so figures size and move fluently instead of jumping to the graph or isometric lattice.
  • Lighter glass hatch. The glass material pattern is less dense and reads more clearly.
v5.25 July 23, 2026

Richer colour picker + clearer grid buttons

  • Full colour palette. The Drawings & Sketch colour picker now opens a 24-colour palette alongside the spectrum wheel, hex entry, and your recently-used colours — the quick swatches stay on the toolbar.
  • Distinct grid buttons. The sketch grid show/hide button now uses an eye icon so it no longer looks identical to the square↔isometric switch beside it.
v5.25 rounds out the colour picker into a proper hybrid — a 24-swatch palette, the spectrum wheel, a hex field, and recent colours in one popover — and swaps the grid on/off button to an eye / eye-off glyph so it reads distinctly from the graph↔isometric type switch in the zoom cluster.
v5.24 July 23, 2026

Sketch grid: square or isometric

  • Grid controls moved to the canvas. The sketch grid on/off button now lives with the zoom controls at the bottom-left of the canvas, and a new button next to it switches the background between a square grid and an isometric grid.
  • Isometric drawing. Switch to the isometric grid to sketch 3D-style — the drawing snap follows the isometric lattice, and your choice is saved with the sheet.
v5.24 relocates the sketch grid on/off toggle into the bottom-left zoom cluster and adds a square↔isometric background switch beside it. The grid type is a property of the sheet (persisted), and the drawing snap follows whichever grid is active. On/off stays a per-view preference; existing sketches default to the square grid and are unchanged.
v5.23 July 23, 2026

Line types & the Spline tool

  • Construction line types. Any line, shape, or freehand mark in the Drawings & Sketch editor can now be set to a standard drafting linetype — dashed, dotted, dash-dot, center, or phantom — from a new line-type chip.
  • Spline tool. A new tool that fits a smooth curve through a freehand trace — ideal for waterproofing membranes and contour outlines. Combine it with a dashed line type for a proper membrane symbol.
v5.23 adds a line-type picker (solid / dashed / dotted / dash-dot / center / phantom) that applies to any stroke-bearing mark and carries through to exports, and a Spline tool that smooth-fits your freehand trace into an open curve (rides the pen family; no new mark type). Both are web-only for now and leave every existing markup unchanged.
v5.22 July 23, 2026

Construction material hatches

  • Material fill patterns. The Drawings & Sketch hatch picker now offers a dozen industry-standard construction materials — concrete, block, brick, earth, sand, gravel, steel, wood, batt & rigid insulation, gypsum, and glass — from a labelled flyout with a live preview of each. Patterns render in the viewer and carry through to the exported PDF/PNG.
v5.22 replaces the three-pattern hatch row with a single chip that opens a labelled picker of ~12 industry-standard construction material patterns, each shown as a live swatch in the mark's own colour. Applies to any fillable shape (and the dedicated Hatch tool), in the viewer and in exports. The earlier generic diagonal / cross-hatch / dots patterns remain valid, so shapes hatched before this update are unchanged.
v5.21 July 23, 2026

Select many marks at once

  • Multi-select. In the Drawings & Sketch editor, Shift- or Ctrl/⌘-click to add marks to a selection, or drag a box around several. Then move, recolour, or delete the whole group in one step — with a single undo.
v5.21 adds multi-select to the markup editor: Shift/Ctrl-click to toggle marks in or out of a selection, or drag a marquee box to grab everything inside it. A group shows each mark outlined with a bounding box; you can drag it, recolour it, or delete it as one action, and undo/redo treats the whole group as a single step. Single selection and everything else in the editor are unchanged.
v5.20 July 23, 2026

Hatches — material & section fills

  • Hatch fills. Shapes (box, circle, cloud, free-form) can now be filled with hatch patterns — diagonal, cross-hatch, or dots — for section cuts and material call-outs. Pick a pattern from the Fill row, or use the dedicated Hatch tool to drag a hatched box.
v5.20 adds hatch fill patterns (diagonal / cross-hatch / dots) to the Drawings & Sketch editor, in the mark's own colour, both as a Fill option on any fillable shape and as a dedicated Hatch tool. Patterns render in the viewer and carry through to the exported PDF/PNG. Existing fills and un-hatched shapes are unchanged.
v5.19 July 23, 2026

Any colour you like on markups

  • Full colour picker. The Drawings & Sketch colour control keeps its quick swatches and adds a “More” button that opens a full picker — spectrum plus hex entry — along with a row of your recently-used colours.
v5.19 upgrades the markup colour control from seven fixed swatches to a full picker: a spectrum and a hex field for any colour, plus your recent colours remembered across sessions. Dragging the spectrum previews live on a selected mark and records a single, clean undo step when you commit — not one per shade.
v5.18 July 23, 2026

Sketch tools: circle/oval, a grid toggle, and a titled export

  • Circle & oval tool. The Drawings & Sketch editor gains a dedicated ellipse tool — drag to draw an oval, hold Shift for a circle.
  • Show / hide the grid. A new toggle on sketch sheets turns the background grid on or off so your markup reads clearly (it carries into the export too).
  • Named exports. Exporting a sketch now stamps a proper title block — the sketch name, scale and date — below the drawing, instead of a tiny caption.
  • Cleaner sketch toolbar. The photo-pin tool (for pinning site photos to a plan) is now hidden on sketch sheets, where it didn't belong.
v5.18 polishes the sketch tools: a first-class ellipse/circle tool (Shift constrains to a circle, with fill support like the box tool), a per-sheet grid show/hide toggle that also applies to the exported PDF/PNG, a real title block (name + scale + date) on sketch exports in place of the old edge caption, and the photo-pin tool suppressed on sketch sheets. All changes are scoped to sketches or additive — PDF plan sheets are unaffected.
v5.17 July 23, 2026

Undo & redo in Drawings and Sketches

  • Undo/redo for markups. The Drawings & Sketch editor now has Undo and Redo — buttons in the toolbar plus Ctrl/⌘ Z and Ctrl/⌘⇧ Z. It covers drawing, deleting, moving, resizing, restyling, recoloring and editing the text of marks, and steps back through your recent changes per sheet.
v5.17 adds a proper undo/redo history to the web Drawings & Sketch markup editor (it previously had none — every mark saved to the server as you drew it). Undo replays the inverse of each change against the server: a draw is undone by deleting it, a delete by re-creating it, and a move/restyle/text edit by restoring the prior value. History is per-sheet, holds your last 60 changes, and each step is only recorded once the server confirms it. Linked pins that create tracker items (RFI/punch/task) are intentionally left off the stack so an undo can't silently reverse a tracker record.
v5.16 July 23, 2026

Drawing tools on top, a real Select tool, and wrapping text

  • Toolbar moved to the top. The drawing & sketch markup tools now sit in a horizontal bar across the top — like the photo editor — so you never have to scroll a long side rail to reach a tool. The width / fill / text controls only show for the tool that uses them.
  • A dedicated Select tool. A new cursor tool lets you click any mark to move, resize, restyle or delete it — separate from Pan, which stays for moving around the sheet.
  • Text that wraps. Long notes now wrap onto multiple lines inside their box instead of running off the edge of the sheet — in the viewer and in exported PDFs.
  • Fixed a start-up error. Cleared an error that could surface an “Error Log” button on page load (a returning-visitor boot path referenced a helper that wasn’t in scope). No data was affected.
v5.16 brings the Drawings markup editor in line with the photo editor: the tool rail is now a horizontal top bar that wraps instead of scrolling, with contextual style controls (only the active tool’s width/fill/text options show). A first-class Select tool joins Pan — click a mark to move, resize, restyle, or delete it — and text notes wrap onto multiple lines rather than overflowing the sheet (carried through to PDF exports too). It also fixes a boot-time reference error (_externalGateThen was defined inside one auth path but called from a second one) that surfaced the Error-Log affordance on load without affecting any data.
v5.15 July 22, 2026

More markup dialogs that open where you can see them

  • Delete, edit, and label prompts come to the front. Deleting a photo from the viewer, editing a drawing's text or pin label, and editing a dimension label now open their confirmation on top of the viewer instead of behind it — the same fix as v5.14, applied to the last few dialogs that still hid.
A follow-up to v5.14: three more dialogs were rendering behind the full-screen photo viewer or drawing sheet (the photo-delete confirmation, the drawing text/pin label editor, and the new dimension-label editor). All now float above the viewer, so they're visible and clickable. The photo-delete one mattered most — its confirmation was hidden, so a stray Enter could confirm a delete you couldn't see.
v5.14 July 22, 2026

Sketch to scale — a blank drawing when you don't have one

  • Start a scaled sketch. In Drawings, create a blank sheet at the scale you choose (1/4"=1', 1:50, and the rest) — then draw walls, lines and shapes with snap-to-grid, drop dimensions that read in real-world feet or metres, and export with a scale bar. Takeoffs measure off it just like a real sheet.
  • Text & callouts stay put. Fixed a markup bug where picking the Text or Callout tool could bounce you back to the media library instead of letting you type.
  • Clear and save, reliably. The markup trash now clears the sheet, and press-and-hold once more saves the current tool as a preset — both confirmations now open on top of the editor instead of behind it.
v5.14 adds a scaled sketching surface inside Drawings: a blank sheet carries a real drawing scale, snap-to-grid, dimension marks that convert to true dimensions, and a scale bar on export — so a hand sketch behaves like a measured drawing, takeoffs included. It also fixes three markup-editor issues where the confirmation and text dialogs were rendering behind the full-screen editor (or the photo lightbox underneath it): the Text/Callout tool no longer kicks you out, the trash clears markup, and hold-to-save presets work.
v5.13 July 22, 2026

Cleaner markup controls on the web

  • Only the controls the tool needs. The photo markup toolbar now shows just the adjustments that apply to the tool you've picked — width for the pen, fill for shapes, size and background for text — matching the field app.
  • Sliders you can actually see. The width, fill, and text sliders got a visible track and a brighter handle, so it's obvious they're adjustable.
v5.13 brings the web photo-markup toolbar in line with the field app: the Width / Fill / Text / Background controls are now contextual to the selected tool (or the selected mark) instead of always showing, and the range sliders were restyled with a clear track and a high-contrast handle so they read as controls, not decoration.
v5.12 July 22, 2026

See who can see your shared items

  • Track every RFI you sent for review. Open an RFI and you now see who you invited to respond — whether they've opened it, viewed it, or replied — with one-tap Remind and Revoke on each.
  • Share a schedule progress link, then manage it. Send a read-only progress link from the Schedule, and a new panel lists every link you've shared with its view count, so you can copy it again or revoke it the moment it's no longer needed.
v5.12 brings the RFI and Schedule sharing surfaces up to the same management bar as bid invitations: a status strip (sent / viewed / responded / expired / revoked) with Remind and Revoke on RFI review links, and a Share-progress-link control on the Schedule with a manage panel to copy or revoke each link. Revoking is immediate and can be done by any project owner.
v5.11 July 22, 2026

Save your favorite markup tools

  • Preset slots you can find. The markup editors' preset chips now show a “hold to save” cue — set up a tool the way you like (color, width, fill) and hold a slot to save it. A quick confirmation shows exactly what it will store, so nothing gets overwritten by accident.
v5.11 makes the annotation preset slots discoverable: a visible hint that they're customizable, and a hold-to-save gesture that previews the tool, color and width it will keep before you commit. On the platform and the field app, drawings and photos alike.
v5.10 July 22, 2026

Conversations on your records

  • Comment threads. RFIs, submittals, change orders, QA/QC items, contracts, and schedule activities now carry a conversation — ask a question, leave context, and keep the back-and-forth attached to the record instead of scattered across email.
  • @mention a teammate. Type @ to tag anyone on the project; they get a notification (in-app and by email) that links straight to the thread.
v5.10 puts the discussion where the decision gets made. Every mention rides the same notification pipeline as assignments, so a question directed at you reaches you the same day — and the whole thread stays on the record for the next person who opens it.
v5.9 July 22, 2026

Markup polish on the platform

  • Text works on photo markup. Adding or editing a text label on a photo now opens its editor in front where you can see it — a layering issue kept it hidden before.
  • Restyle a shape you already drew. Select a mark and change its color, fill, or line width and it updates on the spot — and a freshly drawn shape is ready to restyle immediately.
  • Hold Shift to keep proportions. Drag a corner handle with Shift held and the shape resizes at its original aspect ratio, on both the drawing and photo editors.
v5.9 cleans up the web markup editors: photo text entry renders above the editor, the color/fill/width controls apply to a selected mark (not just the next one you draw), and Shift-drag on a resize handle preserves aspect ratio. No saved markup was ever affected — these were input and display fixes only.
v5.8 July 22, 2026

Markup that feels like paper

  • Rough shape, clean result. Sketch a box, circle, or line and hold — it snaps to a crisp shape. Gloved-hand marks come out looking drafted, and you never have to hunt for the right tool first.
  • Steadier strokes, pencil-first. Lines are smoothed as you draw; with an Apple Pencil, your finger pans and only the Pencil marks (a resting palm no longer draws) — toggle it off for glove-only crews. Hold a second finger to lock a line to 0/45/90°.
  • Live dimensions on your marks. On a calibrated sheet or photo, any line or box can show its real length or area — a markup that says “11′-4″” is an instruction, not a picture.
  • Preset chips & construction stamps. One-tap presets for your go-to pen, highlighter, and cloud; a stamp set for north arrows, door swings, keynotes, detail bubbles, and “verify in field.”
v5.8 rebuilds the drawing and photo markup feel around the jobsite: palm rejection, stroke stabilization, shape-snap, angle constraints, and quick undo — all on the same annotation format that renders identically on the app, the platform, and in PDF exports. Dimension labels reuse the measurement engine, so they stay true to scale.
v5.7 July 22, 2026

Notifications — your work now finds you

  • An in-app notification center. The bell in the header now carries an unread badge and a feed: when anything is assigned to you — a task, an RFI, a punch item, any assignable record, including ball-in-court on RFIs and submittals — it lands there, and one click takes you straight to the item.
  • Assignment emails. Get an email when work is assigned to you, batched so a bulk reassignment arrives as one message, with a link that lands on the exact record. Turn it off any time in Settings → Notifications.
  • Schedule baselines, visible. A Baselines toggle shows ghost bars of the original plan under every activity, with slip chips (+3d, −2d, on-baseline) next to the slack chips — set a baseline once and watch variance live.
  • Straight talk on integrations. The help center's integration pages now describe exactly what ships today and what's on the roadmap — no more, no less.
v5.7 makes assignment real: whoever you hand work to now hears about it, in the app and by email, from every assignable tracker. Under the hood the fan-out runs at the database layer, so it catches every write path — web, field app, and AI-created records alike — and can never slow down or fail a save.
v5.6 July 22, 2026

The daily log meets the schedule — and the field app grows up

  • Today's activities in the daily log. The log now shows the schedule activities active on that day as a checklist — tick progress in the field and it writes straight back to the schedule, updates linked tasks, and re-runs the risk forecast.
  • Offline drawings you can trust. A download manager on the app shows every set's true state — downloading with progress, available offline, or not on the device — with cancel, storage totals, and cleanup. No more guessing in the basement.
  • Back-charges are editable in the field. Tap any back-charge to update its status, cost, trade, and assignee — and attach photos of the damage right from the sheet.
  • Create anything from a photo or video. Task, punch item, RFI, safety incident, or back-charge — each with an assignee, and the media files itself to the record it created.
  • Pins tell you what they are. Every pin now carries its tracker's mark — a check for tasks, ? for RFIs, ! for punch, + for safety, $ for back-charges — identical on the app, the platform, and in exports.
  • Schedule and tasks stay in step. Moving a linked activity updates its task's due date; completing it completes the task; and bulk changes trigger one risk re-run instead of a storm.
v5.6 closes the loop between planning and the field. Progress entered in the daily log flows to the schedule, its linked records, and the risk forecast in one motion; drawings downloads are explicit and honest about what's on the device; and anything a camera captures can become an owned, assigned record in two taps.
v5.5 July 22, 2026

Markup everywhere, schedule by trade, and edit from the field

  • Photo markups now show on the web. Annotations drawn on a photo in the field — arrows, clouds, callouts, measurements, highlights — now appear and stay editable on the platform, and the web photo editor gained the full markup toolset to match the app.
  • Drawing markups reach full parity. Free-form shapes, clouds, double-ended arrows, highlighter and background-free text all render identically on web and mobile, and flow through to exported PDFs.
  • Schedule by trade & CSI division. Activities can carry a trade and a CSI division; group the Gantt by division, and the look-ahead report finally groups work by trade instead of collapsing everything under “Unassigned.”
  • Edit more from your phone. Advance an RFI's status and assign it, set a schedule activity's owner, and check off or reassign meeting action items — all from the field app, with changes flowing to the same places the web does.
v5.5 brings the field and the office to the same picture. Photo and drawing annotations share one format across mobile and web, so a markup made on either surface renders the same on the other and in PDF exports. The schedule gains trade and CSI-division grouping end to end — Gantt, look-ahead report and CSV. And the field app picks up the edit actions that mattered most: RFI status and assignment, schedule ownership, and meeting action-item completion and reassignment.
v5.4 July 21, 2026

Meeting action items get owners — and changes follow through

  • Assign right on the minutes. Every action item in a meeting's minutes — draft or finalized — now has an inline assignee field with your project roster one click away. The AI-extracted name is pre-filled; picking a person links their account.
  • Reassignments follow through. Changing an action item's assignee also updates the task it was promoted to, so the minutes and the task list never disagree about who owns the work.
  • Platform map corrected. The “How it works” map now shows the product's real five project phases and draws its counts from the same source as the rest of the platform.
  • Sharper permission boundaries. A hardening pass across the platform's write operations so every permission check is resolved against the organization that owns the data.
v5.4 closes the loop on meeting accountability: assignees set during minutes review carry a real user identity, flow into promoted tasks, and show up in each person's My Work. Under the hood, permission checks across the API now resolve in the organization that owns the resource being changed.
v5.3 July 21, 2026

Accountability everywhere — assignees, Mine filters & schedule risk on the Gantt

  • Every item has an owner. All 17 work-item trackers now carry an assignee, picked from your project roster, and My Work gathers open items from every one of them — an item stays on the assignee's list until it is genuinely closed.
  • One tap to “Mine.” Every tracker gained an All / Mine filter, so anyone can cut a register down to just the items they own — including items assigned by name before user accounts were linked.
  • Schedule risk, on the schedule. After a Schedule Risk run, the Gantt shows each activity's slack as a color-coded chip and marks the P90 finish date on the bar — the simulation's per-activity results now live where you plan.
  • Procurement meets the schedule. Purchase items can link to the schedule activity they serve; the required-on-job date prefills from the activity's start, and the link is validated so it always points at a real activity on your project.
  • Back-charges tracker on the web. Back-charges recorded in the field now land in a full web register beside T&M — filter, edit, assign and export like any other tracker.
  • Delete photos and videos. Project media can now be deleted from the platform — removals are recoverable, and field devices deliberately cannot delete evidence.
  • Press Escape, close the dialog. Dialogs across the platform now close with the Escape key, one layer at a time — a dropdown inside a dialog closes first, the dialog second — and composing text with an international input method never loses your dialog.
v5.3 is the accountability release. Assignees are wired end to end — picker, database identity, and the My Work dashboard — across every work-item tracker, with Mine filters to match. The schedule closed its loop: the Monte Carlo engine's per-activity results persist to the plan, appear on the Gantt, and connect procurement to the activities it feeds. Escape-key dismissal now reaches every dialog on the platform and always routes through each dialog's own close logic, so cleanup behaves exactly as if you had clicked Cancel.

June 2026

v5.2 June 30, 2026

Team roles & permissions — enforced on every action

  • Granular roles, not just admin or member. Give each teammate exactly the access their job needs — Finance, Project and Sales permissions you set individually, with one-click presets for Estimator, PM, Foreman, Controller and Bookkeeper.
  • Read-only is truly read-only. A viewer can follow the job without being able to change it — budgets, pay apps, change orders, daily logs, safety records and field logs are all write-protected for anyone you haven't granted edit rights, on every screen and through every path.
  • Money controls stay with the right people. Certifying a pay app, approving a vendor payment, posting to the ledger or verifying a lien waiver each require their own permission — and the two-person controls hold no matter how the action is started.
  • Stronger separation between companies. Each organization's projects, documents, job-site photos and financials stay strictly its own — tightened isolation across the platform, including the AI search that reads your project memory.
v5.2 makes the granular permission model for teams enforced end to end. Every Finance, Project and Sales capability is now checked on every action and every screen — a read-only viewer can browse but never modify, and the maker/checker controls on pay-app certification, payment approval, GL posting and lien-waiver verification hold across all paths. We also tightened the isolation between organizations so each company's data — including the documents and photos the AI assistant retrieves — stays strictly its own. Define a role once and trust that the platform enforces it everywhere.
v5.1 June 25, 2026

Meeting intelligence — timestamped notes & a Mac recorder

  • Jump-to-the-moment transcripts. Every action item, decision and risk pulled from a recorded meeting now links back to the exact second it was said — tap the timestamp to replay that moment and confirm the context before you act on it.
  • Tighter notes on long meetings. Hour-long calls no longer over-extract: the action / decision / risk lists stay focused on what actually matters instead of ballooning with duplicates, and long recordings transcribe and finalize reliably end to end.
  • Trueleveler Meetings for Mac. The desktop meeting recorder is now available for Apple Silicon Macs alongside Windows — capture the whole call, get a transcript, and file notes and action items straight to the project.
  • A cleaner Meetings list. Cancelled or no-audio recordings no longer leave empty entries behind, so a project's meeting history stays clean and scannable.
v5.1 sharpens the meeting recorder. Extracted action items, decisions and risks are now anchored to the moment they were spoken, so you can replay the exact context with a tap; long meetings produce tighter, de-duplicated notes and finalize reliably end to end; and the recorder is now available as a native Mac app for Apple Silicon in addition to Windows. Housekeeping: recordings that capture no audio are cleaned up automatically instead of cluttering a project's Meetings list.
v5.0 June 12, 2026

Financial integrity — job costing that ties out

  • Accrual job costing. Cost actuals now post on an accrual basis the moment a delivery is confirmed — not when the invoice clears — so committed-vs-actual on every cost code reflects what the job has actually consumed. Deposits stay committed (not actual) until goods arrive, and partial deliveries prorate by quantity received.
  • One-click year-end close. Close a fiscal year and Trueleveler rolls net income into retained earnings, stamps the period start, and resets the P&L — the close entry every job needs before its books carry into the next year, posted the auditable way.
  • Vendor payments & pay-app reversals that restate cleanly. Vendor payments post to the right GL accounts and stamp the paid date and 1099 trail automatically; reopening or voiding a certified pay app now reverses its postings instead of leaving the ledger out of balance.
  • Cradle-to-grave across 22 trackers. From pursuit and bid leveling through procurement, delivery, billing and closeout, the same record carries its full history — one consolidated procurement stage model drives status forward automatically and can never silently downgrade.
  • Resilient financial surfaces. Every financial screen now fails gracefully — a clear message and a Retry button instead of a blank panel when a number can't load — so the books are never ambiguous about whether a figure is zero or just missing.
  • Self-healing pipeline data. Cost codes now inherit straight from the purchase-order line so every actual lands on the right code instead of an "unmapped" bucket, and the job-cost rollup repairs itself on the next write — a class of latent accounting drift fixed at the source.
v5.0 makes the General Ledger we shipped in v4.5 actually tie out. Job costing is now accrual-based and reconciles to the books to the penny: deliveries book cost the day they land, deposits and partial shipments are handled correctly, and a one-click year-end close rolls the year into retained earnings. Vendor payments and pay-app reversals restate cleanly, the procurement lifecycle drives financial status automatically across all 22 trackers, and every financial surface now degrades gracefully instead of going blank. Next: two-way QuickBooks Online sync so the ledger Trueleveler keeps flows into the accounting system your bookkeeper already lives in.
v4.5 June 9, 2026

Native General Ledger, financial controls & the Sales workspace

  • Native per-job General Ledger. Every job now carries a true double-entry ledger underneath it. Pay-app revenue recognition, cash receipts, cost actuals (COGS / AP accrual) and vendor payments all post real journal entries automatically — no manual bookkeeping, no parallel spreadsheet.
  • Financial statements on demand. Generate a P&L and Balance Sheet for any job straight from the ledger, view it in-app, and export the statements as a formatted PDF — ready to hand to your accountant, surety or lender.
  • Trial balance & journal CSV exports. Download the trial balance and the full journal-entry register as CSV (Excel-ready, with totals), scoped to one job or company-wide.
  • Per-job ledger view + inline entry drill-in. Pick any job to see its own ledger, banner and WIP residual; expand any journal entry inline to read its debit/credit lines without leaving the page.
  • Maker/checker posting controls. Journal entries follow a maker/checker model — the person who posts isn't the person who approves. Defaults are restrictive, so nothing reaches the books without the right permission.
  • Closed-period locking. Close a month to freeze it, and reopen with a recorded reason if you must. Posting into a locked period is gated, so prior-period numbers you've already reported stay exactly as reported.
  • Reverse, restate & void. Correct mistakes the auditable way instead of editing history — every correction leaves a trail.
  • WIP ↔ GL tie-out. Your WIP schedule and your General Ledger now reconcile to the penny, surfaced as a passive health chip so you can see at a glance whether your job costing and your books agree — with a tie-out report when they don't.
  • As-of WIP snapshots. Reproduce the exact WIP schedule you sent the surety on any past date, plus a "what's moved since" restatement diff. Every change to a financial figure is tracked in a field-level finance change log.
  • Schedule of Values export. The project budget / SOV now exports as CSV (cost code, budget, contingency, committed, actual, forecast-at-completion and variance, with totals) and as a branded PDF — the one artifact owners, sureties and lenders always ask for as a file.
  • Sales workspace mode. A dedicated third workspace alongside Project and Finance, with its own dashboard, sidebar and home — built for the bid-to-award world instead of the build world.
  • Pipeline board & Pursuit Dashboard. Drag-and-drop pursuit cards across stages (each stage fits on one page), stage-gate exit criteria and stage-weighted probability, plus a full tabbed deal page: Bid Room with typed document sections, a line-item estimate model, a branded proposal generator with Word export, a bid-period RFI log, an addenda log and a Files panel.
  • CRM, forecasting & an AI sales coach. Accounts and contacts linked into the pipeline; forecast categories (Commit / Best case / Pipeline) with weekly trend snapshots, a monthly bookings goal and a gap-to-goal banner; per-pursuit deal-health scoring, Go/No-Go scorecards, named-competitor battlecards, a Next-Best-Action "My Day" queue, an AI drafter and win/loss debrief coaching.
  • Won deal → seeded budget. Winning a pursuit carries the won contract value straight onto the job and seeds its budget from the winning estimate — with integrity checks on the reverse path if a won deal is reopened.
  • Connected email (Outlook). Connect your Microsoft 365 / Outlook mailbox to provision it now; read-only inbox→pursuit matching rolls out next and switches on automatically when it ships.
  • Finance accuracy fixes. The G702/G703 pay-app form now foots correctly (net-change-by-change-orders reflects approved COs, not a stored zero); estimate-at-completion uses an additive estimate-to-complete; margin is no longer reported as "healthy" before the cost basis has loaded; and budget lines drill cost-source → cost-code → individual transaction.
  • UX fixes. Pay-app PDF 404 resolved; "?" help icons now reveal their explanation on click; the Sales pursuit-switcher works without opening the board first; a new-version detector shows a "Reload" banner when the app updates underneath you; and cash cards show 2-decimal millions to match the Cash Flow screen.
  • Cross-tenant security hardening. Closed an IDOR in PDF rendering, scoped sub-risk reports correctly across tenants, made AI engine and chat project-ownership checks org-aware for multi-seat teams, gated the 1099 and sub-risk reports behind the "view financials" permission, added write-side capability gates on period close/reopen and pay-app certification, rate-limited COI OCR, and hardened internal report fetches against SSRF.
v4.5 is our biggest financial release since launch. Trueleveler now keeps a real, double-entry General Ledger under every job — with statements, CSV/PDF exports, WIP↔GL reconciliation, and the maker/checker and closed-period controls that sureties and lenders expect. Alongside it, a dedicated Sales workspace turns the pipeline board into a full pursuit-to-award command center: bid room, estimate model, branded proposals, forecasting, CRM and an AI coach — with a clean hand-off that seeds the job budget the moment a deal is won. The release also closes a round of cross-tenant security gaps. Next milestone: making this ledger tie out under load — accrual job costing and year-end close (shipped in v5.0).

May 2026

v4.0 May 25, 2026

Marketing v4 · Engine pages depth pass · Backend hardening

  • Marketing nav v4 — unified across the entire site. Capitalized "Trueleveler" everywhere (was lowercase in 80+ places). Replaced the dot-and-text brand with the full /trueleveler-logo.svg wordmark, grown 50% (28→42px). Menus centered in a 1280px container, bolded. Log in pinned to the top-right corner, Sign up as the amber CTA second from right. The homepage's old .nav__* CSS system (115 lines of dead overrides) was stripped — marketing-v2.css is now the single source of truth for the nav on all 80+ pages.
  • "Book a demo" → "Sign up" everywhere. The legacy "Book a demo" CTA pointed at #demo, an anchor that didn't exist on any page — clicking just scrolled to top. Swapped to "Sign up" wired to /login#signup (which auto-opens the Create Account tab). 115 text swaps + 117 link swaps + 25 footer capitalizations across 130 files.
  • Engine page-depth pass (§13 handover). Five engine pages went from ~8KB stubs to full marketing pages: contract-review (28.5KB, 7 sections, side-by-side review mockup, owner-language tricks grid, 7-item FAQ), change-order-review (24KB, PCO review-panel mockup with $73K disputed-dollars finding), daily-log-synth (18.8KB, synthesized-log mockup, manpower-from-photos pitch), equipment-scheduler (18KB, 8-category coverage), and meetings extended (18.5KB, new "The replay UI" mockup + Privacy & retention section). Per-page CTAs replaced the bid-leveling default everywhere.
  • Recent engine runs table cleanup. Dropped the cryptic RUN-UUID column from the Project Dashboard's recent-runs table — engine name + scope + timestamp already identifies each row. Freed 110px to ENGINE and SCOPE columns so they stop ellipsis-truncating.
  • Tasks source chips now readable. The ↳ source chip on Tasks now shows the human-readable label ("Email: HVAC bid follow-up", "Daily log 2026-04-19 · weather", "RFI: Roof drain") instead of the cryptic ↳ PO-c0000000 short form. The source_label field has been populated since migration 057 — it was just being suppressed.
  • Procurement "Not on a PO" section removed. The PO tab's bottom-of-page "Not on a PO" table was duplicating rows already visible on the Items tab. Replaced with a defensive data-integrity warning banner that only fires when items at a post-PO stage are missing their po_number (the real edge case that previously hid silently).
  • Results page header glitch fixed. The Project Log lens header was inserted by setTimeout(350ms) polling, so the body rendered ~350ms before the header bar appeared — a visible flash on every navigation to Results. Replaced with a MutationObserver that fires synchronously the moment the container's innerHTML changes; the user never sees a frame where the bar is missing.
  • Engine Picker + Results lens italic restored to canonical .tl-italic. Both surfaces were drifting from the Punch List / Tasks / RFI italic treatment (deep amber Newsreader 500) — rendering instead as bright-yellow #fbbf24 at weight 400. Now both consume the shared .tl-italic class so future tweaks propagate automatically.
  • Settings toggle visual-state fix. The Engine Behavior toggles (Show Notes, Auto-create procurement, Auto-save engine PDFs, etc.) clicked correctly but the switch never visually moved — state was baked into HTML at render time instead of CSS-driven. Replaced with a :checked + sibling selector pattern so the knob slides on click.
  • Migration 133 — org-scoped GL code library. New org_gl_codes table backs the Chart of Accounts UI in Settings; PO line autocomplete now reads from the firm's real GL codes instead of six hardcoded defaults. Per-org scope, role-gated mutations (viewers read-only).
  • Migration 134 — durable Pulse Q&A threads. New pulse_threads table replaces localStorage-only persistence. Threads now sync across devices, with per-user RLS and an updated_at trigger so the sidebar's "recent threads" ordering stays accurate.
  • Migration 135 — granular PO audit log. New po_audit_log table with an auto-insert trigger on purchase_orders INSERT/status-change. The PO Detail page Timeline now shows real timestamps for created/issued/email_sent/delivered/invoiced/paid events instead of synthesizing them from created_at + updated_at.
  • Build idempotency restored. Earlier in the marketing v3 pass, running node src/build.js kept clobbering §1/§7/§8 fixes because the atlas builder and docs builder regenerated public/how-trueleveler-works.html + public/help/*.html from stale sources. Updated the source JSONs (src/docs/pages/*.json) to the canonical 25-engine taxonomy and fixed scripts/atlas-styles.css border-radius scale at the source. Build is now idempotent; two consecutive runs produce zero diff.
  • Validation script · §13 page-depth checks. File-size, section-count, and per-page-CTA assertions for all 5 engine pages. scripts/validate-public.sh exits 0 across §1–§11 plus the new §13 gates.
v4.0 is the marketing-and-app modernization release. The marketing site went from inconsistent (different headers, different brand styles, different CTAs across pages) to coherent — one nav system, one logo, one signup flow. The five P0/P1/P2 engine pages went from teaser-stubs to confident product pages with real mockups and FAQs. The app side closed three structural backend gaps (133/134/135) and fixed two annoying UX bugs (the Results header flash, the cryptic task source chips). The build process itself is now durable — the source files match the canonical taxonomy so future builds don't silently undo work. Next milestone (v4.1+): the Phase 1 financial-core sequence — Project Budget tracker, Job Cost rollup, Owner Pay App Drafter — plus the CO outbound input and T&M ticket tracker that round out the change-order story.
v3.10 May 23, 2026

PDF exports v2 · Tracker export standardization · Design handover gap closure

  • 25 PDF design specs all wired — every Claude Design v2.0 PDF template from the May-23 design handoff is registered server-side. 8 engine PDFs (Contract Review, RFI Drafter, Schedule Risk, Pay App Review, Submittal Reviewer, Meetings, Project Pulse, Pulse Q&A Export) plus a generic tracker-register.js template that handles 13 tracker + specialty IDs (tasks · rfi · submittals · procurement · schedule-gantt · insurance-compliance · media-photo-log · meeting-minutes-signoff · vendor-profile · engine-history-export · project-dashboard-snapshot · co-review-variance).
  • Tracker export dropdowns standardized — every tracker (Procurement, CO, RFI, Negotiations, Punch List, Vendors, Insurance/COI, Tasks, Schedule, Submittals) now has the same Export ▾ dropdown with CSV + PDF options. The dropdown opens with click, closes on outside-click, and dispatches the right export per the active tracker. Replaces the prior mix of flat buttons and inconsistent labels.
  • PDF register exports — clicking "PDF" on any tracker downloads a tracker-state register PDF grouped meaningfully (CO by verdict · RFI by open/recent · Negotiations by status · Punch by priority · Vendors by trade · Insurance by compliance status · Tasks by assignee · Submittals by status).
  • Procurement deep-dive cleanup — renamed the confusing "PO active" stage section in the Items tab to "On order" (was visually colliding with the top-level "Purchase Orders" tab). Removed the Import button (auto-imports still work via submittal-extractor flow). Export consolidated to the standardized dropdown.
  • 13 new help articles from the Design handover — meetings-voice-synthesis · submittal-reviewer-engine · schedule-risk-engine · rfi-drafter-engine · pay-app-review · daily-log-synth-engine · warranty-compiler-engine · asbuilt-reconciler-engine · bid-vs-actual-engine · meetings-tracker · emails-tracker · engine-history · mobile-capture.
  • Homepage news drip — new "★ Shipping log" section between the hero and the Platform browser surfaces the 3 latest platform updates (Voice → Minutes, Project Pulse, Schedule Risk).
  • Taxonomy fix across the marketing site — "19 engines + 6 productivity tools" replaced with "26 engines + 15 trackers" everywhere; SoftwareApplication JSON-LD featureList expanded to the full canonical 33-entry taxonomy; Voice Synthesis (Meetings) added to the help engines index.
  • Migration 132 — fixed the latent market_check_bids RPC type mismatch (PERCENTILE_CONT returns double precision but the function declared NUMERIC). Surfaced during H7 audit verification post-mig-131; the benchmark feature was effectively broken until now.
  • Migration 131 — closed the historical_bids cross-tenant RLS leak (H7 audit gap). Direct table reads are now org-scoped; the benchmark RPC still sees the full cross-tenant pool via SECURITY DEFINER.
  • Tasks list polish — integrated column-header row (TASK · SOURCE · DUE · OWNER) at the top of the list card; source-chip references truncated to 8-char UUID prefix (was overflowing the column).
  • 7 new resource pages from the SEO content roadmap — Prevailing Wage & Davis-Bacon · Construction Dispute Prevention · AI & Digital Transformation in Construction · Sustainable Construction Procurement · Construction Compliance & Regulatory Hub · Construction Technology Buyer's Guide · Small Contractor Procurement. Closes 18/18 of the resource roadmap.
v3.10 is the design-handover closure release. Every PDF template from the Claude Design v2.0 batch is wired, every tracker has a standardized Export dropdown, and the live marketing site is reconciled to the canonical "26 engines + 15 trackers" taxonomy. Two Supabase migrations (131 + 132) close the historical_bids audit gap and fix a latent benchmark-RPC type mismatch. 13 new help articles ship in /help/ covering the new engines + workspace views. The remaining design-handover work (12 P1 engine-page refreshes, OG image generation, marketing video) is the v3.11 backlog.
v3.9 May 23, 2026

Resource Library Expansion & Security Hardening

  • Six new long-form resource pages joined the SEO library — Prevailing Wage & Davis-Bacon, Construction Dispute Prevention, AI & Digital Transformation in Construction, Sustainable Construction Procurement (Buy Clean / LEED v5), Construction Compliance & Regulatory Hub (12-regime map), and the Construction Technology Buyer's Guide. Each follows the established Blueprint Amber visual language, includes Schema.org Article + BreadcrumbList structured data, and ties back to specific Trueleveler engines.
  • Tasks list view polish: integrated column-header row (TASK · SOURCE · DUE · OWNER) at the top of the list card, and source-chip references now collapse Supabase UUIDs to first-8 prefix (e.g. "PO-c0000000" instead of the full 36-char UUID) so the source column stays compact.
  • Migration 131 closes audit gap H7: historical_bids RLS no longer exposes "was_awarded = true" rows cross-tenant. The market_check_bids RPC continues working unchanged because it's declared SECURITY DEFINER and bypasses RLS for aggregate queries — benchmark feature intact, raw-row exfiltration vector closed.
  • Home-page nav flyout surfaces all six new pages under a new "Compliance & Strategy" sub-label so they're discoverable without going through the sitemap.
v3.9 follows v3.8 on the same day — the engineering marathon kept rolling into a focused content + security batch after the major engine work landed. The resource-page additions complete 17 of the 18 pages on the original SEO content roadmap (the 18th, Modular/Prefab Procurement, sits in the backlog as a niche P3). Migration 131's historical_bids lockdown was a deferred item from the May 9 audit; the prior migration (129) noted that the benchmark RPC needed cross-tenant visibility but didn't recognize that SECURITY DEFINER already bypasses RLS — this release corrects that gap by tightening the policy to org-only while leaving the aggregate benchmark unchanged.
v3.8 May 23, 2026

Negotiation Intelligence, CO Review Engine & 16 Claude Design PDFs

  • Negotiation Intelligence Module: Brand-new tracker for live vendor negotiations. Open a session, log every touchpoint (call · email · in-person), record the vendor's response, and capture the $ / schedule delta. AI coach surfaces opening moves, anchor points, resistance handling, and walk-away triggers tailored to one of six focus modes (Discount · Delivery · Terms · Scope Lock · Substitution · Relationship).
  • Vendor Profile aggregator: Every closed session feeds a per-vendor profile — responsiveness score, flexibility score, average concession %, and inferred common tactics (stonewalling · incremental concessions · delivery padding · overhead inflation). The next negotiation with that vendor opens with sharper coaching grounded in their history.
  • Voice dictation on touchpoints: Walk out of a vendor call and dictate the notes — the browser's built-in speech recognition transcribes "Our position" and "Vendor response" fields live, no extra typing.
  • Change Order Review engine modernized: Engine 7 (CO Review) now writes a structured record to the change_orders table per run — verdict, recommended $, savings, manipulation flags, cited clauses. New Change Orders sidebar tracker lists every analyzed CO with one-click Export PDF, Push to Schedule (auto-creates a tagged slip), and Negotiate (opens a pre-filled negotiation session).
  • RFI citations persistence: Drafter-emitted citations now persist to a dedicated rfi_citations table. Tracker rows surface a 🔖 N chip when an RFI has cited evidence; modal Citations section lets the PM add manual references (source · page · quote) for audit-ready evidence trails.
  • 16 engine result PDFs upgraded: Bid Leveling · Scope Check · PM Handoff · Bid vs Actual · RFQ Generator · Scope Builder · PO vs Quote · PO vs Invoice · Quote vs Invoice · Submittal Extractor · Punch List Drafter · Daily Log Synthesis · Equipment Scheduler · Warranty Compiler · Closeout Builder · As-built Reconciler — all now download Claude Design-specced PDFs instead of opening a print-preview window. Templates pull structured engine data so layouts stay consistent regardless of result shape.
  • Project Dashboard Negotiation KPIs: Three new tiles (ACTIVE · WON 30D · SAVED YTD) sit alongside the existing Procurement KPI strip, each clickable to deep-link into the Negotiations tracker filtered to that state.
  • Org-aware RLS for team workspaces: Voice recordings, audio anchors, and the delivery receipts table all now flow through the organization-membership policy so teammates can collaborate on shared projects without losing row-level isolation across orgs.
  • Pulse Q&A auto-reindex: Newly-created RFIs, analyzed COs, and disputed COs automatically refresh the project's Q&A retrieval corpus — no more manual reindex clicks before asking "what was decided last week."
  • 7 quality-of-life features: Submittals "My BIC queue" tab · Insurance tracker row drawer + kebab menu · Schedule "Tag cause" chips on behind rows · Tasks bulk reassign / re-due typeahead picker · Daily Log PDF export · Meetings speaker diarization · RFI Drafter per-field confidence chips with mandatory citation slot for low-confidence fields.
  • Cross-engine fixes: Bid vs Actual · Schedule Risk · Pay App Review all now read the correct procurement + change_orders column names — three silent "empty rollup" bugs closed in one audit pass.
v3.8 is the largest single release since launch — 36 commits introducing the Negotiation Intelligence Module (the biggest revenue lever on the post-audit roadmap), modernizing Change Order Review into a server-side engine with full tracker integration, and finishing the migration of every engine result panel onto Claude Design's PDF template system. Five Supabase migrations (126: rfi_citations · 127: CO analysis columns · 128: negotiation schema · 129: org-aware RLS · 130: NUMERIC widening for mega-project COs) shipped alongside. Cross-engine reads (Bid vs Actual, Schedule Risk, Daily Log Synthesis, Pay App Review) all caught up to the live column names after a follow-up audit surfaced three silent failure modes. The Negotiation Module's "closed-loop" story spans Bid Leveling → new negotiation session pre-filled with the recommended vendor → AI coaching with vendor profile history → close-won feeds the next negotiation's coach.

April 2026

v3.7 April 26, 2026

Blueprint App Rollout, Skeleton Loading & Lighthouse 100s

  • Blueprint App design system: The full app — sidebar, header, project dashboard, engine results, doc chat, charts, modals — now wears the same Blueprint Amber identity as the landing page, with mono section labels, amber active states, and a unified focus ring on every interactive element.
  • Skeleton loading on dashboards: Project and company dashboards now show shimmer placeholders while content loads, replacing the moment of empty-screen flicker on first visit and re-renders.
  • AT A GLANCE grid lock: Project dashboard stat cards now lock to a 2-column layout that always fits the right rail — the "Savings Found" card no longer clips on default desktop widths.
  • Subcontractor Prequalification guide: New long-form resource on prequalifying subs — financial review, safety record, EMR thresholds, and the documents to collect before bid day.
  • i18n expansion: 35+ more strings translated across all 10 supported languages — sidebar breadcrumbs, toast messages, empty-state primitives, and AI-confidence badges all read in your active locale.
  • Lighthouse 100/100/100: Accessibility, Best Practices, and SEO all hit perfect scores on the homepage. Performance follows close behind.
  • Platform Atlas SEO: /how-trueleveler-works now ships structured-data markup so Google can surface engine details and FAQ entries in rich results.
  • Mobile + print pass: Tighter mobile breakpoints across modals, sidebars, and dashboards, plus cleaner print styles for tracker PDFs and engine result exports.
  • Visual fixes: How It Works dropdown nav now renders correctly (it had been collapsing into raw blue links on the live page). Paper-section headlines are visually amber again — the previous shade was darkened past what the WCAG large-text rule actually requires.
The v3.7 release brings the app surface in line with the landing page identity. Every shell element — sidebar, header, modals, charts, breadcrumbs — now uses the Blueprint Amber tokens, mono section labels, and the unified focus ring system. Skeleton loaders smooth out the dashboard reload moment, and the AT A GLANCE stat grid is locked to a deterministic 2-column layout so wide values like savings totals never clip out of the box. A new long-form resource on subcontractor prequalification joins the guide library. SEO got a structured-data pass: rich-result markup landed on the Platform Atlas, sitemap orphans closed, and meta descriptions tightened to within Google's recommended length. Internally, the design audit's 5-phase token migration completed (legacy <code>--blue-*</code> aliases moved to <code>--accent-amber-*</code> across the codebase) so future contrast and theme adjustments have a single source of truth.
v3.6 April 21, 2026

Tracker PDFs, Schedule Impact & Platform Hardening

  • Tracker PDF exports: Generate branded PDF reports from the Punch List, RFI, and Insurance trackers with one click. Photos are auto-downsampled so even photo-heavy punch lists fit within serverless limits.
  • Schedule Impact in Change Orders: CO analysis now surfaces days of schedule impact alongside cost so you can answer the liquidated-damages question directly from the summary bar.
  • 10-vendor bid leveling: Level up to 10 vendor quotes in a single run (up from 5) to match real trade-package bid spreads on mid-size projects.
  • Dark mode follows your OS: Theme switches live when you change macOS or Windows appearance settings — no reload needed.
  • Procurement toolbar fixes: CSV import is now visible in the toolbar so you can bring existing POs from a spreadsheet. The non-functional "Open in Sheets" button was removed in favor of Export CSV.
  • GDPR data export pagination: Personal-data export now returns up to 50,000 rows per table (previously capped silently at 1,000) — full history even on heavily-used projects.
  • Faster dashboard reloads: Recent activity is cached for 60 seconds with invalidation on new events, so repeat dashboard visits load instantly.
  • Accessibility sweep: Every modal now has an accessible name for screen readers, all sidebar navigation buttons are labeled, the language picker is fully keyboard-accessible, and focus rings meet WCAG 3:1 contrast on dark backgrounds.
  • Language attribute sync: The <html lang> attribute now updates instantly when you switch between the 10 supported languages, so screen readers pick the correct voice profile automatically.
  • Free-trial signup clarity: The 14-day trial call-to-action now lands directly on the Create Account tab, and provider attribution is shown on free-trial analysis results.
The v3.6 release focuses on closing user-reported gaps and hardening the platform. Beta testers asked for Schedule Impact in Change Orders and tracker-level PDF exports — both shipped. Procurement import friction, a hidden import button and a non-functional "Open in Sheets" button, is resolved. A large accessibility sweep brings the app within reach of WCAG 2.1 AA: every modal is announced by name, every sidebar button is labeled, the language picker is fully keyboard-accessible, and focus rings are visible on dark backgrounds. Under the hood, plan-limit enforcement was unified across three API endpoints, GDPR data export scales to 50,000 rows per table, and photo-heavy PDF reports now gzip and auto-downsample so they fit within serverless payload limits.
v3.5 April 12, 2026

Team Collaboration, Mobile & Dashboards

  • Team collaboration: Invite team members via email to share projects, procurement, submittals, and vendor data across your organization
  • Company + Project Dashboard: Separate company-wide overview (overdue items, health scores, suggestions) and per-project dashboard with active alerts and action items
  • Usage tracker: Always-visible progress ring in the header showing your monthly AI run usage with detailed breakdown on click
  • Mobile support: Full responsive layout for phones and tablets across all pages, trackers, and modals
  • Procurement workflow: Items, RFQs, and Purchase Orders displayed in a clean 3-zone vertical layout with unified search
  • Project card actions: Quick-access menu on each project card for editing and changing status. At Risk status is now automatic when project health drops below 60
  • RFQ to Bid Leveling: Generate an RFQ from procurement items, then flow directly into bid comparison and PO creation
  • Overdue tracking: Company Dashboard surfaces overdue items from procurement and submittals across all active projects
  • Document counts: Document page now shows total count including AI analysis results alongside uploaded files
The v3.5 release makes Trueleveler team-ready. Team members share a unified view of all project data through organization-level access. The split dashboard gives executives a bird's-eye view while PMs get project-specific alerts with actionable next steps. Health scores now compute automatically across all project views. Mobile support covers all screen sizes from large monitors down to small phones.
v3.4 April 8, 2026

Punch List Redesign & 10-Dimension Project Health

  • Punch List redesign: Professional modal forms with photo upload, drag-and-drop, trade/type dropdowns, inline status changes, and a shareable report with photo viewer
  • Punch List sharing: Print, download, email, or copy reports — share directly with clients and subs
  • 10-dimension Pulse score: Project health now measures 10 dimensions including Punch List, RFI Management, and Insurance Compliance using live tracker data
  • AI Recommendations: Pulse alerts flag specific overdue items, critical deficiencies, and expired insurance with direct links to fix them
  • Persistent tracker data: Punch List, RFI, and COI tracker items now persist across sessions
  • Updated onboarding: 5-step guided tour reflects current platform capabilities
The v3.4 release is focused on closeout workflows and project health visibility. The Punch List tracker was rebuilt with professional forms, photo management, and shareable reports. The Pulse health score was expanded to 10 dimensions that pull live data from all 5 trackers, and AI recommendations now generate specific, actionable alerts instead of generic summaries.
v3.3 April 5, 2026

Faster AI, Better UX & Accessibility

  • Faster analysis: Optimized document processing reduces AI analysis time significantly for large construction documents
  • Smooth loading: Shimmer placeholders and animated progress bars show real-time status during AI analysis
  • Notification center: Bell icon in the header tracks analysis completions and quota warnings across sessions
  • Deeper contract analysis: Contract Review, Scope Check, and Change Order Review now perform deeper reasoning for more thorough results
  • Cost tracking: Analytics panel shows AI usage costs and per-engine breakdown
  • CSI MasterFormat: Division codes resolve instantly without requiring AI processing
  • Accessibility: Improved color contrast ratios and added color-blind safe indicators to all status badges
  • Security improvements: Enhanced protection across authentication, payments, and API endpoints
The v3.3 release focuses on speed, polish, and accessibility. Document analysis runs faster through smarter text processing. The progress bar provides smooth visual feedback during long analyses. Security was hardened across all endpoints, and accessibility was improved to meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards.
v3.2 April 4, 2026

Pay App Financial Controls

  • Retainage analysis: Pay App Review now surfaces retainage rate, amount held, contract value, and flags discrepancies between the pay app and contract terms
  • Cumulative billing tracker: Displays prior periods, this-period amounts, running total, percent complete, and balance to finish — with front-loading detection
  • Lien waiver checklist: Verifies prior unconditional waiver, current conditional waiver, and sub-tier waiver status with clear pass/fail indicators
  • AIA compliance badge: Instant compliance indicator for AIA G702/G703 format requirements
  • SOV overbilling flags: Lists specific Schedule of Values line items where billed percentage exceeds documented completion
  • Stored materials & prevailing wage flags: Highlights when stored materials are claimed or prevailing wage documentation should be verified
The Pay Application Review engine now renders a full financial controls panel alongside the line-item table. Retainage, cumulative billing, and lien waiver data were already being extracted by the AI but were not displayed — this release brings them to the surface as structured panels with colour-coded status indicators. Front-loading patterns, retainage discrepancies, and missing waivers all trigger prominent warnings. AIA compliance, SOV overbilling flags, stored materials claims, and prevailing wage requirements are surfaced as status badges above the red flags section.
