01 · The stage chain

Bid → PO → Submittal → Fab → On-site → Installed.

Every procurement item walks a strict seven-stage chain. The current stage updates automatically from upstream signals: a PO issuance walks the row from Bid to PO. An approved submittal walks it to Fab. A delivery scan walks it to On-site.

Float days (forecast delivery minus ROJ) is the magic number. Negative float surfaces in red, pings Schedule Risk, and triggers an Expedite suggestion.
