COI tracker · guide
The COI tracker guide is the reference for setting insurance minimums and catching non-compliant vendors. Set contract-required minimums per project and coverage type from the Contract Minimums button on the Insurance tracker; an unset coverage type is never compared. A vendor on site with an expired or sub-minimum COI is flagged in the tracker.
Where do I set the contract-required insurance minimums?
Set the contract-required insurance minimums for this project from the "Contract Minimums" button on the Insurance tracker — not Workspace Settings. Minimums are per project and per coverage type (GL each-occurrence, GL aggregate, auto, workers' comp, umbrella); there is no per-trade tier and no dollar default. Every coverage type starts unset, and an unset coverage type is never compared — set only the ones your contract actually requires.
What happens when a vendor's COI is expired or below the minimums?
If a vendor walks on-site with an expired or sub-minimum COI, we flag it in the Insurance tracker and Pulse will surface it when you ask "are all vendors covered?"
