The Submittal Reviewer guide is the reference for how a review is started, how findings are rated, and what to do with a re-submittal. You run the Reviewer yourself on a submittal and a spec section; findings are rated critical, major, minor or info on every run, and a re-submittal is reviewed as a new run.
How do I start a review?
Open the Submittal Reviewer, paste or upload the spec section and the submittal, and run it. Nothing is reviewed automatically: the Reviewer runs only when you start it. To save the result on a tracked submittal, link the review to that submittal.
How are findings rated?
Every finding is rated critical, major, minor or info, the same way on every project. There is no strictness setting. Findings the engine is not confident about are filtered out, and the result says how many.
What happens when a revised submittal arrives?
Run the Reviewer again on the new revision. Each run stands on its own: the result does not compare against the earlier revision's findings, so check yourself that the old findings are fixed.
