RFI Drafter · guide

The RFI Drafter guide is the reference for how a drafted RFI is made, what the confidence threshold means, and how to edit and send it. You describe the conflict, the Drafter writes the RFI and saves it in the RFI tracker as a Draft. Fields below 70% confidence stay blank.

How do I start an RFI draft?

Open the RFI Drafter and describe the conflict or question, or pick the spec and drawing it comes from, then run the Drafter. It does not scan your documents on its own. The finished draft is saved in the RFI tracker as a Draft.

What do the confidence thresholds mean?

Below 70% confidence on a drafted field, we leave it blank with a "?" prompt. Above 70% we fill it. You can still edit every field in the tracker.

Can I edit a drafted RFI?

Yes. Open the draft in the RFI tracker and edit any field, including the ball-in-court role. The citations the Drafter used are listed under the draft as numbered references with their source and page. When you click Send for review, you enter the recipient's e-mail address yourself.
