Billing & plans
A Trueleveler plan is Free, Trial, Pro, Business or Enterprise, and it sets your monthly run quota plus your project and seat limits. Upgrades go through Stripe Checkout and take effect immediately, the quota resets on the 1st of each month, and unused runs do not roll over.

Field seats
The Seats column above is the Full seat cap — office roles that touch budgets, procurement, or sales (PM, Estimator, Controller, Bookkeeper). Job-site roles (Foreman, Superintendent) are Field seats instead, and on Pro and up they don't count against your seat limit at all — invite as many as your crew needs. On Free and Trial every seat still counts the same way, so a Field-titled member there does use up one of your seats. An admin can assign or override a member's seat class any time from Settings > Team.
Founding 25
The first 25 accounts to claim a Founding spot get $99/mo Pro — for life (standard Pro is $199/mo). There are two ways in: the Claim Founding Spot button on the pricing page when you sign up, or completing the beta feedback survey. The rate is applied automatically at checkout to Pro billed monthly; it doesn't apply to annual Pro billing or to Business/Enterprise. See the pricing page for current availability.
How do I upgrade my plan?
To upgrade, open Settings, then Billing, choose a plan and billing period and pay through Stripe Checkout; the upgrade takes effect immediately.

Enter payment details. Founding 25 discount auto-applies if your account is flagged and you're checking out Pro monthly — it doesn't apply to annual billing.
Upgraded immediately
New quota applies from this moment; you're not billed for the partial month.
Quota tracking
Usage meter at the top of the app shows runs used / runs remaining this month. Quota resets on the 1st of each month. Unused runs don't roll over.
What counts as a run?
Every successful engine run counts as one run, and each Doc Chat or Pulse Q&A question counts as one; failed runs, sample-data runs, re-opened saved sessions and the Schedule Tracker, Email Classifier and Task Manager cost nothing.
- Every successful engine run = 1 run
- Failed runs (API error, timeout) = 0 runs
- Sample data runs = 0 runs (canned output)
- Re-opening a saved session = 0 runs (no new analysis)
- Schedule Tracker, Email Classifier, Task Manager = 0 runs
- Doc Chat / Pulse Q&A = 1 run per question (same monthly pool as the engines — there is no separate chat quota)
Invoices
Every month you're charged, Stripe sends a PDF invoice to your billing email. View all past invoices in the billing portal linked from Settings > Billing.
Can I cancel or downgrade my plan?
Yes. Settings > Billing > Manage subscription opens the Stripe billing portal. Cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the current billing period. No refunds for partial periods.
