Compose Email
Describe what you want to say, get a drafted email — checked against the project's own documents before you send it. Free while in beta.
What it does
Compose Email drafts a professional email from a short brief — "tell Pinnacle we need the RTU submittal resubmitted before their long-lead PO releases" — and checks every factual claim in the draft (dates, dollar amounts, names, commitments) against that project's own uploaded documents before handing it back to you.
It never refuses to draft. If your brief asks for something the project's documents don't support, it still writes the email as asked — but flags the specific sentence, explains why it's unsupported, and quotes the source excerpt it did or didn't find. You decide whether to send it as-is, fix the claim, or ignore the flag.
How to use it
Open Compose Email
From a project, find Compose Email under the email/communication tools.
Write your brief
A sentence or two of what you want the email to accomplish — the recipient's context, the ask, the tone.
Set type, length, tone
Email type (general update, RFI follow-up, schedule notice, payment request, other), length (brief / standard / detailed), tone (formal / friendly / urgent). All optional — sensible defaults apply if you skip them.
Run
The draft comes back with a subject line, body text, and any fact-check flags.
Review the flags
Each flag quotes the exact sentence in the draft it concerns and explains the concern — never a vague "some claims may be unsupported."
Copy and send
Compose Email drafts the text — it doesn't send anything itself. Copy the subject and body into your own email client.
How grounding works
Your brief is matched against the project's document corpus the same way Pulse Q&A retrieves context — real excerpts from real uploaded documents, not a general knowledge guess. If nothing in the project's documents is relevant to your brief, the draft still comes back (never a refusal) but is marked grounded: false, and any specific factual claim in it gets flagged as unsupported rather than presented as fact.
Cost and limits
Free while in beta — doesn't spend a run from your plan's monthly pool. Rate-limited to 20 drafts per hour per account so it can't be used as an unmetered general-purpose writing tool.
What it's not
Compose Email doesn't send email, doesn't know your email history or prior correspondence with the recipient, and doesn't track whether you actually sent the draft.
