Help Assistant

The "Ask a question" chat in the header — answers grounded in the help center itself. Free. Does not use your run quota.

What it does

The Help Assistant answers questions about how to use Trueleveler — where a feature lives, how a workflow works, what a setting does. It only answers from the help center's own content and cites every source it uses. If your question isn't covered, it says so plainly rather than guessing.

This is a different tool from Doc Chat (which answers questions about YOUR uploaded project documents) and Pulse Q&A (which answers questions about a specific project's data). The Help Assistant only knows the help center — it has no access to your projects, documents, or account data.

Cost and limits

Free, on every plan, including Free. Asking the Help Assistant a question does not spend a run and is not part of your plan's monthly run pool — that pool is for engines and Doc Chat. There is no separate quota for the Help Assistant.

History

The conversation is kept only in memory for your current page load — reloading the page or navigating away clears it. Nothing about the conversation is saved to your account or visible after you log out.

How to use it

  1. Open it

Click Ask a question in the header, from anywhere in the app.

  2. Ask

Natural language — "how do I invite a teammate", "where do I set up payment approval", etc.

  3. Follow the citations

Numbered links under an answer point to the exact help-center article a claim came from.

When it can't answer

If nothing in the help center covers your question, it says so directly instead of guessing. For a genuine construction-project-management question Trueleveler doesn't have a feature for, it may offer brief general best-practice guidance and logs the gap as a build suggestion — but it will never claim a feature exists that doesn't.
