Command Center

One project dashboard that answers the three questions a PM actually opens the app for: are we healthy, are we making money, and what needs a decision today.

What you see

Command Center extends the project dashboard with the sections a PM or owner scans first, above the tracker-by-tracker detail: a Pulse health breakdown, open-item counts across your core trackers, live field conditions, a plain-English profitability call, a plain-English billing/cash-position call, and a running team sticky note. Everything here reads from the same data and the same computations your other tracker pages already use — nothing on this page is a second, possibly-divergent version of a number you'd see elsewhere.

Pulse breakdown

The project's overall Pulse score, plus every scored health dimension sorted worst-first — so what's actually dragging the score down is the first thing you see, not buried alphabetically. A radar chart gives the shape at a glance. Click any dimension to jump straight to the tracker that can change it.

Tracker roll-up strip

Open-item counts for Tasks, RFIs, Submittals, and Punch List — using each tracker's own definition of "open" (an RFI counted open here is exactly the set you'd see filtered to open on the RFI Tracker itself, not a second, looser definition). Click a tile to jump to that tracker.

Field signals

Four live tiles: crew size today (from active schedule items), days since the last safety incident, whether today's daily log has been submitted, and today's weather at the project address. A tile that can't load says so honestly ("couldn't load") — it never shows a fabricated zero, which matters most here: "no incidents logged" and "we couldn't check" are very different facts to see on a safety tile.

Margin verdict

A single plain-English headline — "12.4% forecast margin ($340,000)", "Thin margin — 3.1% forecast", or "Forecast to lose $80,000" — with one sentence of what to do about it. Pulled from the same forecast-to-complete math the Budget Tracker computes; this page just surfaces it where the profitability question actually gets asked. If the project's contract value isn't set yet, this tile asks you to set it rather than guessing.

Cashflow verdict

Two lines above the gauges: a billing verdict (are you over- or under-billed relative to what's actually been earned) and a cash-position line (what you've paid out vs. what you've collected, and where the gap sits — not yet billed, billed and awaiting payment, or retainage held to closeout). Earned revenue is derived from cost — a project with no cost coded yet has $0 earned by construction, which is not the same as "nothing has been earned." On a project like that, this tile deliberately says “Billing can't be graded yet” instead of comparing your real billing against a placeholder zero and reporting an alarming false overbilling.

Cashflow gauges

Five radial gauges — Committed, Incurred, Billed, Collected, Retainage — each shown as a percentage of the figure it's most naturally compared against (Committed of contract, Incurred of committed, Billed of committed, Collected of billed, Retainage of billed). A gauge with no ratio to show (its denominator is still zero) reads "no data yet" rather than a misleading 0%.

Billed vs. earned

A simple two-bar comparison of billed-to-date against earned revenue for the current period, labeled OVERBILLED / UNDERBILLED / ON TRACK. Same underlying WIP computation the Finance Dashboard's WIP schedule uses.

Team sticky note

A free-text note visible to the whole team on this project — "remember to chase the Voltabright warranty," "owner walk Thursday, tidy the trailer." Every save creates a new dated entry rather than overwriting the last one, so nothing gets silently lost if two people save at once; open View history to see every prior note.

Owner access links

Mint a read-only link you can hand to the project owner — scoped to just the surfaces you choose (meeting minutes, schedule progress, photo albums, payment applications), with an optional label and expiry. The link works without the owner needing a Trueleveler account. Each link shows when it was created, when it expires, and how many times it's been viewed; revoke any link instantly and the owner loses access immediately. This replaces having to hand out four separate one-off tokens for the same person.

Every control

Pulse dimension row

Click to jump to the tracker driving that dimension's score.

Tracker roll-up tile

Click to jump to that tracker, pre-filtered to open items.

Gauge / verdict tile

Click to jump to Budget Tracker or Pay Apps, whichever feeds that figure.

View history

Expands the sticky note's full edit history, newest first.

Save note

Writes a new sticky-note entry. A no-op save (identical to the current text) is skipped, not written as a duplicate.

Mint owner link

Choose scopes, an optional label and email, then create. The link is copied to your clipboard automatically.

Revoke owner link

Immediately invalidates that link. Asks for confirmation first — this can't be undone.
